actually I kinda thought the no-goal call was a good one too, especially at first blush without the benefit of replay. I do think those plays should be reviewable though and NOT judgement calls.

Seeing as my screenname is Buckeyewingsfan I had to say "our" - no competing loyalties here That said, this has been coming. Columbus played Detroit strong all last year too with half the talent. With upgrades like Umberger and Huselius and now Gratton and Vermette, it is a completely different team in Columbus. The team that should be really worried is Chicago. Right now Columbus is the better team and is playing better. I don't think anyone really considers Columbus to be superior to Detroit in any way except goaltending.

Agree. But damn look at the week Columbus had - they started by beating the s*** out of our Wings, then they dominated Boston, followed that by winning against Pittsburgh (and they looked good there too) and then they really took it too Chicago. Time to stop the streak.

This isn't college football where opinion rules all (i.e. the polls and BSC)....the NHL has the best playoffs and the Wings dominated it last year and if Osgood and the Defense step up (not to start the s*** in yet another thread), the Wings have the best team again. f*** everyone else. /Thread

When is the VS TV contract up as well as the NBC portion of it? Somehow I doubt The Reign of Error will break the TV contract off from his buddies at NBC....

Something I've concluded being here for nearly 2 full seasons plus going on 3 playoffs.... Wings fans, when the team is losing, makes an emo kid seem bright and cheerful. It's said, some of it is being spoiled, some of it is the enormous bandwagon the Red Wing dynasty has created, some of it is pure douchebaggery. Whatever it is, at least it's fairly consistent.
