Edmonton was big that year too though... And Mason isn't really out of nowhere....back last year during the trade deadline a bunch of teams were asking for him (mainly Tampa for Brad Richards) since Columbus was kinda in the playoff race and needed a centerman....and f*** it's 4-0..... -

Yeah, but I honestly can't blame Columbus for going into lockdown mode. Detroit would do it too if they were fighting and struggling to get into the playoffs. Of course the easiest way to get them out of lockdown is to score one really quick. -

That's a pretty fair assessment of the situation. It's not that the CBJ suck really, if they played in the East the would likely be the 4 seed. But Detroit can't go out and just show up and expect to beat teams like Columbus anymore. A healthy Hossa, Mule and Homer would be nice. But I'd love to see a Helm - Leino - Abdelkader line anytime -

I've been watching the boring ass Trashville-BJ game. I have to say, 5 goals in the 2nd were surprising, but eventually Steve Mason is going to get pissed when his team keeps giving up breakaways on the power plays and can't even get the puck in the zone on a 5 on 3 PP. Ouch. Glad I'm a Wings fan LOL

The Central is crazy this year. And the thing is Columbus, Chicago and St. Louis are all probably going to be better next year too.....

I sure know how to pick 'em Being a Buckeye fan AND a Red Wing fan it's fun having people hate your team. That's usually meant they have won more than they have lost. Unfortunately Baltimore is my favorite baseball team and they have been irrelevant since Ripken retired. My favorite NFL team is the Browns and even pittspuke fans are taking pity on the team at least now.

the Wings could have had two goalies in the game and still would've lost tonight they were THAT bad.

There isn't a goalie worth a s*** out there for what the Wings could pay in a trade for so just lose that idea...
