Not really....Detroit isn't playing very crisply on the offensive end.....Honestly they look sloppy more than San Jose is doing anything special....

The Wings had 11 (!!!!!!) Giveaways and the Sharks had 7 takeaways in that first period. That's crazy. The Sharks had 1 giveaway and the Wings had no takeaways. That's your game right there... And for our resident troll, Detroit outhit San Jose 13-9 that period.

3 things Detroit needs to do in the 2nd (just my observations).... Dump and chase isn't working so much....the Sharks are sitting back... San Jose is looking for nothing but backdoor cuts when they are in the Detroit zone..... turnovers suck....if Detroit eliminates them then it's 1-0 and not 2-0. They didn't play horribly the entire period, just for a couple minutes. Detroit is flat and clearly they miss Homer.

2-0 to the guppies from San Jose... The game isn't over yet and more importantly the SERIES isn't anywhere NEAR over yet. You think New Jersey is going to quit because Ottawa is scoring goals in the 1st game on them? Hardly. Until the PP and even for most of the PP up to the goal, Detroit was controlling the flow of the game. Then for about a minute of game time it went to s*** and now things are back to the way they were.... Now they just need to bury a shot or 3....

Yep!!! Everytime that damned Enterprise commercial comes on, you drink a beer as quickly as you can. I'll call them out.... Well I won't try to convince you, but I will question why you're even worried about the series? It's all in the hands of the players. Detroit has good players who will attempt to play their absolute best, which is pretty damned good. Don't worry about anyone else. If they win they win, if they don't, it'll suck, but they aren't going to roll over and die for them.
