No trust me this hurts pretty bad. I'm just being realistic. EDIT: This team has been hurt all year by 3 things. Lack of seniors leading the way, a complete hole in the offense where they don't get the ball to Oden for stretches and the injury to Oden. Only one of those 3 things has been fixed. It's just not their year.

Well Ohio State is trying to lose to Xavier..... Xavier is playing well and Ohio State simply isn't on defense yet. We will see what happens, but those of you wishing for an upset might have something brewing.

I HATE being in the Dayton Area. They went from a competitive game between Miami of Ohio and Oregon, which would equate to a MEGA upset, to Katie Frickin Couric whining about Valerie Plame and Alberto Gonzales. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Just for fun (and because I'm a dork)....and this is all according to wikipedia... A degree of longitude can (apparently) vary between 0 to 111KM. assuming the 111KM figure (which works out to about 69 Miles of 5280 feet per mile)....We would get 364320 feet per degree of longitude. A degree of longitude can be broken down into 60 minute intervals as well as each minute interval can be broken down into 60 second intervals.... A difference of 2 minutes and 49 seconds would work out to something like this.... 364320/60 = 6072 6072/60= 101.2 2 minutes would equal about 12144, or a bit over 2 miles (2.3 to be exact) We have 49 seconds as well (at a corresponding 101.2 per second) 101.2 * 49 = 4958.8... added all together, we get 12144 + 4958.8 = 17102.8 or about 3.24 (rounded) miles.... for completeness, all figures were taken from wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Longitude Also, upon thinking about it, and further reading the Wiki page, as you go further north, or south if you are south of the Equator, Longitude lines get squeezed together a bit more. Therefore it may not be exactly 3.24 miles, but probably closer to 3.

Hate to tell you, but Detroit is West of Columbus by Longitude. Detroit is 83 degrees 2 minutes and 51 seconds West and Columbus is 82 degrees 59 minutes West.... EDIT: Damn this forum is fast 200 Miles? Hell it isn't even 200 miles from Detroit to Columbus in the first place. Check that, from Downtown columbus to Downtown Detroit is 202 miles according to Google Maps. Methinks you need to divide by about 100.

I kind of doubt the NHL will expand into Vegas. The league needs to consolidate before expanding again. It isn't like they are generating humongous ratings or actual attendance figures right now.
