Thanks to the Pens posters for showing class. To come back the way your team did after losing the first 2 games in Detroit showed a lot of heart. Congrats on a great season. When you do win the cup, and you will again, this season's experience will just make it that much sweeter.

Whew! What a great game. I have to admit that I was unsure how the Wings would match up with the Pens. I thought either team could make this a very short series. I can breathe a little easier now. It looks like this will be a great series. I think Pittsburgh will come out with a lot more fire next game but the wings have shown that experience matters in times of adversity (Holmstrom non-goal). They didn't seem to let it affect the game plan. Good job. Go Wings!!!!

Whew! I can finally breath again. Before the series started I was thinking that either team was capable of blowing the other team out. I had no idea how they would match up. Damn! These guys (Wings) are really good. Great defence.

You guys should be proud of your team and their playoff run. What grit! During the third period of game three I thought you were done. Your guys seemed to lay down. We (Wings fans) thought it was all over. There were people actually saying the dreaded "S" word. WRONG! During games four and five, and right until the very end of game 6, the Stars played with heart and determination. Way to go. You had a great playoff run when nobody (media and pundits) thought it possible. Good luck next year.

Including us. Even when we are winning. Why else would we have boards? I always join the boards of the playoffs opponents to see what their takes on our players and gripes are. They also complain about the announcers of the games bias FOR the Wings at the same time that we are complaining about them favoring the other team. It makes you think...........

The worst part to me is Melrose and most non-Detroit analysts were right. I hate it when that happens.......s***! I doubt if the Wings will let this sidetrack them from their ultimate goal. Ozzy is OK. Let's play some hockey!!

I have to agree. Hall-of-famer Ernie Harwell had a similar unique broadcasting style. Notice I said "similar'. Obviously nobody has ever compared to Ernie.
