Same here. I was wondering if we did the same thing to them last year and they are just returning the favor. I went to: http://www.letsgopens.com/scripts/phpBB3/v...&start=6150 I found two posts from the same Wings fan. that's it. There was not one congratulatory post from a Pens fan. There was one named "To Pens Fans" at LGW as soon as game 7 ended. Link It had nothing but praise. Edited for link.

My thoughts exactly. Only changes we should make are the ones that are necessitated by our cap issues. Let Conks go and finally give Howard a chance to spell Ozzie once or twice a week. The GR kids are more then capable of filling any holes we may end up with. I like our team.

It was a great series and the Pens deserve all the credit they receive for a hard fought victory. Traditions, such as the hand shake at the end of a bitter series, are important to a lot of fans. Including me. The fact that he is young doesn't excuse his actions for me. If he was considered mature enough to be appointed Captain of an NHL team I would think he would not have missed out on honoring such a long standing tradition regardless of how excited he was. To me it just sends a poor message to kids. "Wow, Crosby told them to F*** Off, wasn't that awesome?" A lot of us imitated our sports heroes when we were growing up. Hopefully he says something about how he should have done things differently in the days ahead. I'm sure he will.

It's been that way since, and when, we won back-to-back. Wings against the world. The refs have had a little underdogitis when making calls. They're only human. It used to be because we bought our cups. Now it's because of our recent successes.

Enjoy the cup. It was well earned. You're going to hear all kinds of excuses and complaints from fans around the league about how your team was favored by the refs and Bettman all through the playoffs. Bulls***! Your guys played with heart and amazing determination. You simply wore the Wings down. You deserve the cup and everything that comes with it. Enjoy! Your C still sucks however....

Congrats to the Pens. The better team won. 4 out of 5 against the Wings and overcoming the 5th game debacle. Jesus is this hard to take. The NHL is very pleased, I'm sure. What a letdown. I don't feel too sorry for Hossa and I'm not going to watch Sid with the cup.

If we win this game they'll be telling everyone about how much heart this team has. We never gave up on them etc.etc........ If we can score within the first 10 minutes I like our chances. Pens have shown me a thing or two. I'm very impressed win or lose. Let's Go Red Wings! Time to kick some ass!
