It's not so much that he is not understood. To me it's: 1. The arrogant and exhausting way he chose to say he thinks that there is no place in hockey for class. 2. Determining if someone is a classy or dirty player is determined solely by your team affiliation. The whole post was a total waste of pixels.

It would not be good for the league if the same team dominates every year. The whole idea about parity is that this will not happen. The rest of the leagues' fans would have little hope of ever seeing the cup hoisted by their team and ticket sales and interest would plummet This isn't the NBA and the Lakers. Who, besides us, wants to have everything about the Red Wings crammed down their throats? Although I do hate the NHL commercials showing the Pens seemingly winning the cup, having our team ignored is a badge of honor. Don't worry about it. The good thing is it brings us closer together here.
