I turned to the local NBC channel at 8:00 and was greeted with a black screen w/ no sound! A reboot of the Directv receiver fixed it but I about s*** a brick waiting 5 min. for it to bootup. Let's go Wings!!!

The following days' newspaper reported: During a recent soccer tournament the Soviet Union ended up in second place while the US team was next to last. *kidding Props to Crosby for finally realizing their are some pretty good hockey players out there.

Surprisingly calm this time around. Watched the 2007 Ducks-Senators Game 5 yesterday. The Ducks' defense was stifling. The West is the BEST. Let's keep the puck in their end, and net, for the full 60 min. Go Wings!!!!!!!! Let's do it again like we did last Summer! Or late Spring......whatever.

Fedorov was a whole different thing. He was here for his entire career, to that point obviously, when he bolted. And there was the whole sneaking him out of the evil mother country thing. As 55 stated, Bert was a late season acquisition like Hossa and, as it turned out, his leaving was the best thing that could have happened to us.

If you're talking about Hossa in the finals last year, I recall that he was the one that made me cringe most whenever he was about to shoot.
