Don't get cocky, indeed. The fourth win is the most difficult to get. Most of the time I'd say that if you don't get the ring, you've failed. Not this year. Wings have already surpassed my wildest dream for this season. From here on out I'm gonna just sit back and enjoy the ride. -

In 2011-12 Toots played the most regular season games of his career, 77. He only played 3 games in the playoffs. The season before, 2010-11, he played in all 12 playoff games. Apparently, Trotz and Babs have similar thoughts about his usefulness in the playoffs.

Players defending their zone will intentionally chip the puck over the glass when they are gassed and/or outmatched by their opponent. That's the purpose of the penalty.

It was Eddie. He also said that the refs shouldn't have another judgement call about whether it was intentional or not. I hate to agree with Eddie, but I feel the same way. I taped the game so I will find an exact quote when I watch it.

It's become pretty obvious to me that The Trib doesn't do hockey so well. I'd be livid if I was a Hawks fan. Ugh, I just threw up in my mouth a little. I'd be sending some uncomplimentary e-mails to that rag, for sure. -
