Outstanding goal. One of the best ever. I don't think he would have tried that move if the game had any importance. If I'm wrong and he would have, then you are right on.

Wings decide to have their defensive breakdown in the first period this game just to get it out of the way. They spend the rest of the game trying, sort of, to gain the lead. Homer trys to climb over "The Wall" and gets big laughs and friendly pats on the back from all of the Blackhawk players. I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict that one of the teams will win by an indefinite number of goals in regulation. Or OT maybe.

This was my GDT pregame post. My feelings haven't changed and I was only a little disappointed. I had a lingering bad feeling about The Captains' pass up the middle in the third. Still can't believe it. I would be surprised if that happened in the playoffs. Minor brainfart.
