its not that the wings are boring its just that they are so predictable, you know how they will play each and every game, you know they will be at the top of the standings. I still watch the games but i could definitely see why people find them boring.

I would be ok with that, seems the wings have a history of resurrecting guys careers, but it all lies on what the oilers do and what happens wit franzen

should have kept quincey, but i'd like to see ericsson there permanently he brings some size and a cannon of a shot (why oh why is sammy still on the point on the PP) and is better than lebda and chelios. I'd be fine and quite frankly more comfortable with a lilja/ericsson 3rd pairing in the playoffs than lebda/lilja. But from what i've seen of ericsson these last games, he has looked good out there and i think the 6th spot is his to lose at this point

exactly, I live in so called "Leafs Territory" so I know all about the leafs and watch them sometimes when the Wings aren't on, the Kopecky comparison is right on, or you can flip it and say he is the less talented version of Langer. Also Burke says he wants a first for Antropov, luckily for us we have a Gm that isn't dumb, but im sure burke will find some GM to fleece on that deal Besides, I'd much rather see kenny re-sign Franzen who is a much better all around player than re-sign antropov for probably the same $$

as much as this makes sense for the team, and i can't beleive im saying this, i'd like the wings to hold on to sammy for the cup run. The line of sammy,huds and helm has great chemistry and sammy does score some big goals. But if leino continues to impress then losing sammy might not be as bad as we think

i think leino is kenny's insurance policy if we lose hudler and franzen (have a gut feeling hossa is staying) and i think he has the potential to be a 25 goal 50 point type guy in the nhl and could become alot better if he works hard on the defensive side of things

im just glad quincey is making it look like a mistake letting him go, and proving everyone wrong. I am aware he wouldn't be doing what he is if he was still with the wings, but he is showing he is quite capable and LA seems to be the perfect fit for him

filpula for armstrong could be a good fit, both are about the same offensivly and armstorng is like a younger version of drake armstrong is a rfa after this year and would probaby wouldn't get anymore than what fil is getting now anyways and i definitley think atlanta would do that deal

thanks for posting the vid, sameulsson for neil? contracts are almost identical and are both UFA after this year. Not saying it would happen but if kenny is looking to add something to the grit department then this deal would be perfect

well im going to the same game actually, greektown is good for food as is cheli's chili, you can take the people mover which i find is very useful for getting around the downtown there is not a bad seat in the joe as far as verbal abuse goes, you should be ok, just make sure you show respect in our barn hope you have fun!

how so dude? quincey was never given a chance here. yes someone had to go but it should have been lebda IMO. I like meech and lilja but I see quincey as the better all around player and he is now finally proving it.
