those directions are correct except I find it easier turning left on jefferson and parking in the cobo hall parking lot, but its up to you. They will check your passport one the american side and having your tickets in hand also help speed the process I find. as for taking me 45 minutes it was because the tunnel was just busy. thanks for the heads up about the bridge, guess I will have to leave earlier too

go through the tunnel in windsor is the best way. When you come out of the tunnel you turn left on jefferson which takes you right to the parking garage. this is by far the best way, I will also be going to the opener and im coming from london and taking the 401. I've been to the joe many times and this is the best route. Also leave around 12 since your coming from toronto, it took me 45 mins to get through the tunnel last time.

Jordan Foreman!! watched this guy play alot when he was with the knights. He's basically Tootoo but not as dirty and he has offensive potential. I'd like to see this guy get signed for GR and see if he could make his way up to the Wings.

This is great news, I like Cheli but if he wants to retire a hawk now is the time to do it, Chicago is a really young team and he would help them alot. IMO we have so much depth cheli is not needed.

Great to see Downey back for another year. I will bet that he is the 13th forward to start the year. Just a really likable guy who did a good job last year and earned his spot on this team, it's his to lose.

The Ducks placed forward Todd Bertuzzi on waivers Friday with the intention of buying out the remaining season on his two-year contract. If Bertuzzi goes unclaimed, as expected, he'll be an unrestricted free agent Tuesday, when teams can begin negotiating with free agents. The Ducks signed Bertuzzi last summer to a two-year deal worth $8 million. Bertuzzi, 33, scored 14 goals and 40 points in 68 games with the Ducks. Before signing with the Ducks, Bertuzzi spent the end of the 2006-07 season with the Wings after being acquired at the trade deadline. Bertuzzi had five goals and six assists in 24 regular-season and playoff games with the Wings. He was coming off back surgery while with the Wings. The back didn't seem to bother Bertuzzi in Anaheim, although he did miss some time early in the season because of a concussion. With Bertuzzi still Anaheim property for now, the Wings aren't allowed to discuss Bertuzzi. But Bertuzzi could be a possible fit, replacing Dallas Drake, who is leaning toward retirement. Bertuzzi liked the tight-knit, close atmosphere in the Wings locker room, and relished being close to his family in Ontario. What does everyone think about Zhitnik? If Stuart leaves i think he could be a cheap option to play along side Kronwall. He had a horrible season this year but I think he would be a good fit. With him and Kronwall together players are going to have to keep their heads up thats for sure. He can also play on the PP and has bomb from the back end and would get sammy of the point Should Stuart leave he'd be a good fit and he would be cheap and KH can spend in other Areas.

Agreed. With Detroit's "Family Like" approach it has with it's players you can bet he will feel more "at home" and will be watched and monitored closely. Babcock will be very strict with him and with vets like Lids, cheli,drapes,mac,homer etc, they would be a huge help to him as well. Whats the harm of signing him to a cheap one year with bonuses? It could be a steal cause this guy has tons of talent if he can focus. If he messes around he can be waived and sent to GR or get claimed. The Wings can rejuvenate players I'd like to see them try it with Emery.
