I was thinking maybe they put Mule on the third line and move Cleary down to the 4th line with Emmy and Homer, Mursak healthy scratch. Top 2 lines are clicking right now, wouldn't want to see them apart.

Ned has really worked on his offense by the looks of it, nearly quadrupled his numbers this year although he has a horrible -35 rating, but I think that's because his team was bad this year. Only 3 fights on the year, but at 6-4 225 I don't think many people would want to fight him.

Maybe he is already in agreement with Kenny and is being "stashed away" at college for another year. Could be a few spots on D opening up in the next few seasons.

Why is the OP getting negged? He asked a legit question. I wouldn't be opposed to having Ericsson play forward for a few games. You could scratch Emmerton and have Ericsson play center, he came up as a center so im sure he can win a few draws

I agree with keeping Nyquist, he is just better than anyone on the 4th line, I would even take him over Cleary and Bertuzzi. However, he needs to get much stronger this summer so he can win puck battles like Pavel and Hank do. Should be a good replacement for Hudler when he walks and gets his 5M.

I agree but screw seniority. Kindl hasn't done anything to warrant being in the lineup so it should be him in the press box. Smith played mostly with Doug freakin Janik and excelled, Smith and Quincey is better than Quincey/Kindl/Ericsson. Holland's gotta stop being afraid to hurt guys feelings, this is a business and he should do whatever to make this team better. Babcock even said he wanted Smith in the lineup all year long..

Well this sucks but I knew it was coming. To bad Kenny is deciding to make our defense weaker since Smith is far better than Ericsson and Kindl at both end of the rink. They are just both so terrible and painful to watch.

My boy got rocked, but hopefully he learns from that fight. Sheahan kinda reminds me of Franzen, they are roughly the same size and both did not produce much offense in their development stages, at least Franzen didn't, Sheahan still could. Franzen was known for his defense when he first came up and was pegged to be a 3rd/4th liner until he started scoring. Sheahan is also know for his defense and I think his floor is a shutdown 3rd line center. Perhaps he could become more like Franzen did? I just hope he doesn't become soft and a perimeter player like Franzen did. Sheahan is going to be on the Wings much quicker than people think. He is a big body who can skate well and is know to be good defensively. He is already Physically ready and needs to refine his offense a bit and get the mental thing down. I'm going to go out on a limb and say if he impresses with GR and has a strong training camp with the Wings he could surpass Emmerton as the 4th line center merely due to the fact the kid is big and can play defense. However, this would hinge on what happens in the summer and his development. I definitely see him as the 3rd or 4th line center in 2013-2014 season to begin with anyway.

I am Canadian and I hate all the Canadian teams and their fan bases. I grew up and still live in "Leafs Territory" and I cannot stand the sad sacks of s*** fans they have. I guess Winnipeg would be the only Canadian team I'd be okay with since I got family there and they used to send me Jets stuff when I was a kid.

As long as Pittsburgh, Vancouver, or any other Canadian team don't win the cup I could care less.

THis is a 23 year old man we are talking about, not some 19 year old. He has nothing to prove in the AHL anymore and can only get better with NHL experience. He is already much better than Kindl and Ericsson ever were.
