well I don't think they are going to trade drapes considering he just signed a new deal. Maybe they will get grigs into the game and showcase him. If a deal were to go down it could be maybe a hudler/prospect for prospal or something like that. Prospal would fill our need for a second line center/top six everyone has been talking about.

Ellis has been great, what can I say. the guy works his ass off night in and night out. I find it funny how everyone talks about how his skating has improved because it has improved drastically compared to last year. But I found it interesting how on the TSN broadcast Healy had nothing but good things to say about Ellis but he kept commenting on how Ellis has good hands but his skating is terrible. He isn't the most agile skater I've seen but the guy can flat out fly. Maybe Healy saw something Being so close to the action that I don't see on TV, but the only reason Ellis is on this team is because he worked so hard on his skating this past off season. Keep up the good work Matt

It's too bad ZDH is going to get broken up with the return of Franzen and Drake, but it will be good to get those two back.

on the TSN broadcast, glen healy is between the benches and after the cleary hit there was a lot of trash talking going on and all you could hears was natter nater natter and Downey leaning over saying f*** you guys and healy is like " ok mute it guys" lmao crap tsn is having technical difficulies !!!!!!

So, seems the coach and players like Downey. That should put the whole we don't need an enforcer issue to rest. I remember someone saying the Downey fight had nothing to do with the out come of that game. "It's great to see," Zetterberg said. "I think all of us got a little extra energy when he did that and it was a great fight. It changed the momentum back to our side."
