I think there is a good chance he may be. I really hope the Wings take him, it would be a risk but if everything pans out he could be a force on the ice. If we keep Bert, Aliu could take his place in a few years. I can only hope

Does anyone think the Wings should take a chance on this kid? I think he could be a real good player, maybe Iginla like. Hes the 41st ranked player in the draft and I think becuse of his off-ice problems people will stay away form him but with a first class organization like the Wings that could change. Akim Aliu

I think there is a good chance he could drop to our pick. I hope the Wings Braintrust give him a good look. Also he is playing for my hometown knights so hopefully he gets a fresh start here and he puts his past behind him.

he wont fall that far, thats where the chance factor comes in, we would have to use or first pick. The reason he got in the fight was becuse he REFUSED to be involved in a hazing incident and I give him alot of credit for that. And I don't think he was crying.

Hamilton could defenitly support a team. They have already sold quite a few tickets and SO Ontario is a hockey hotbed, it be wrong not to move a team here. And everytime a team talks about moving Hamilton always seems to pop up as a possible location. so it's obvious the city and the people badly want a team to support. I have a freind who lives in Hamilton and Cousins in Brantford(20 min drive from hamilton) that have been Leaf fans all thier lives but would switch over in a heartbeat If steel town got a team. Out of the 8 million people who live in or just outside of the Golden Horseshoe would have no trouble supporting a team.

I also think he could juggle it, HNIC is once a week ALWAYS on Saturday night, chances are Wings might not be playing that night, or if they are they can get someone like Larry Murphy to fill in for him. Toronto and Detriot is really close so I wouldn't see a problem with lending Daniels to HNIC for 1 night a week

I think it may be cuase Toronto feels threatened with the expansion plan. They are doing anything they can at all costs before the inevitable to make themselves better. Lets face it, it's not like the Preds are struggling team on the move, if they go to Hamilton they will still be the same team, and they are way better than the Leafs. So who know maybe Toronto will lose tons of fans. So maybe thats why they are trying to get people like Bowman to help course the ship a bit..

Great news that Dom is MAY be comming back, I guess we will hear his decison tommorow? PLEASE BERT STAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dunno really want Bert to stay. I would like to get bigger and nastier on D Cory Sarich would fit that role, so would Sutton one of those guys along with re signing Schnids IMO could put us over that hump next year.

Hockey Fight Camp What do you guys think about parents sending their 12 year olds to a hockey fighting camp run by the Boogeyman and his brother? I don't think its any different than going to a self defence class

I do feel bad for the hardcore pred fans, I would love to have a hockey team an hour from me. Everything seems to be falling into place. I am kinda jelous though of KW, I wish London could get an NHL team, if KW or Hamilton can do it I think we could too. plus they would be out of the limits of Toronto and Buffalo and still be right smack dab in to middle of 8 million people.
