We used to get kicked out for the game if it happened before the third period. If it happened in the third or the end of the game we got suspended for the next game. It might be harsher now but I played within the "Old Rules" where it was goon hockey. needless to say I missed a few games in my time

Checking camps are mandatory here. I rember I had to a camp before my Peewee year. They do help alot so I don't see why a afight camp wouldn't do the same thing .

I was really young, but I remeber it was against the Devils and it was before Broduer was in the League. I went with my dad and my grandpa and I remeber the Wings won my dad bought me a bunch of cool wings stuff and thats also when I became a fan of the Wings. I think i was 7 or 8 when I went so I don't really remeber it well but I have the ticket stub still so thats how I knew it was the Devils lol. But that was my first Wings game, to young to really remeber but to this day I still have all that Wings stuff my dad bought pearched proudly on my shelf.

I hope one of those forwards ain't lang..... Markov was great and I really like him but I don't see him comming back. Kenny will proboaly sign another tough d man though, possibly Cory Sarich? Made 1.8 last year could proboaly be had for 2.5 the same Marky got last year. Kozlov would be a good signing but I would like kenny to get someone whos big and strong, don't know any big strong guys on the market right now though..

I would like to get a legit tough guy that will play 40-50 games.

wow...... JFJ is really killing the Leafs, I would like them to be a competitive team again, but that won't happen with bone head signings like these. Antropov is big and doesnt hit, slow, lazy and gets injured alot. 4 million that could of defenitley been better spent. Tisk, Tisk JFJ, Tisk..... I know my Dad will be pissed, he is a HUGE Leafs fan and he hates Antropov for the reasons stated above lol.....

Couple guy I would like: Jim Slater TSN scouting report Assets Has unbelievable wheels, scoring potential, grit and a defensive conscience. Doesn't make a lot of mistakes with the puck. Flaws Needs to show more consistency in the offensive zone. Tends to play out of control on occasion. Career potential Top six forward. Adam Mair Assets Plays a sound defensive game and creates a lot of turnovers in the offensive zone. Works hard and is always hustling. Can play all three forward positions. Flaws Injuries have ravaged what was once a promising career. Is at times too aggressive and takes bad penalties. Career potential Fourth line agitator. Arron Asham Assets Owns a solid work ethic and is strong along the boards. Is also willing to crash the net to create scoring chances or even drop the gloves. Flaws Lacks polish in his overall offensive game. Will never light up the score sheet at the NHL level. Career potential Fourth line winger. I think any one of these guys would fit great here. I would really also like to see the Wing sign cory Sarich as well. Add Bertuzzi to the mix and we defenitley upgraded the GRIT department. I also think it would be wise to sign an enforcer with a 2 way contract that we can call up when we play teams that feel they can take liberties out on us becuse they think were soft. Just my 2 Cents.

When the Wings lost I was crushed, I thought to that this would be one of those "Years" but as someone said the better team doesn't always win. We proved everyone wrong by beating The supposed "Toughest" team in the league that was supposed to give us all this trouble. Then We beat the Biggest anf Fastest and Youngest team that everyone thought was a cup contender. Then we outplayed and should have beat the "BEST" team but had a few bad breaks and didn't get the bounces like in the first 2 serires... Tough break for the boys but they wull come back even harder and more furious than ever and be hungry as hell. WINGS 2008!!!!!!

Um I would love Don as Commish, he is about 18,000 times bettrer that betman.

We won't get much for him at this point. But If he were to have a real good season say, this upcoming one, he could be trade bait at deadline to get what we need at that point.

No to Giggy, great goalie but we got to develop howard. I say let Ozzie start next year with Howard as back up. and when the playoffs come you just go with whos hot. You never know maybe Howard could pull a Cam Ward in last years playoffs.

There is more leafs fans than any other fan of any team in Canada. The Majority of Canadian hockey fans are leafs fans. And anyone who is a "TRUE" leafs fan hates the Sens, thus making the majority of people wanting the Lucks to win cuase they are all bitter leafs fans. My Father is a hardcore Leafs fan and wants the Lucks to win, and all the other Leaf fans I've talked to (and trust me this is alot) want the Lucks to win. I on the other hand hate all Canadian teams, but my hatred for Pronger runs so deep that I want the Sens to win, I hope that douch never wins a cup.

Yzerman is my all time fav, and for current player I'm going to have to go with Iggy. He plays hockey the way it should be played and he knows how to take care of himself. It's not to often you have a guy who can score 50 goals and hit and fight the way he does. He is also quite responsible in his own end which makes him a complete player, so I guess thats why I like him.
