Sorry if I come off as arrogant. Im just a traditonalist who loves hockey. Im all for attracting new fans, but putting Hockey teams in non traditional markets and changing the rules of the game to cater to these "new fans" doesn't go well with me. You either like hockey or you don't, theres no need to change the rules of the game we love to get a couple "new fans" and make a quick buck. Cities should earn the right to have a team, not them just being dropped in thier laps in hope of making more money. Thats why the NHL is on life support, to many teams not enough fans.

KC is the worst place to go, they can't even support a Baseball team. They should go to Winnipeg, they just built a huge brand new arena there.

Man If Pittsburgh moves out west I hope this means the Wings go to the east. We would be in the Northeast with Leafs< Hasbeens, and Sens and Buffalo, that would be a dream. Since i live in so called "Leafs Territory" this would be awsome for me to see the WIngs beat up on the Leafs 8 times a year. BTW Boston would take pittsburgh's place in the atlantic, Pittsburgh goes into the Northwest and Minny moves into the central. I could live with not playing Chigago very much becuase we would play the other 4 Original 6 teams a total of 24 times in a year.

Actually I have had to look up some rules, yeah the "new" rules. Becuase Buttman keeps changing them to cater to all these expansion teams fans cuase they don't know jack about hockey. It makes my blood boil when all the Canadian fans and fans of Teams Such as the Red Wings and any ORIGINAL 6 team that have a rich history some of which go back 80 years get the shaft.

Franzen rules, this guy is defenitly one of my fav players. He plays hard, goes to the net, hits, can contribute on the offensive and is an above average defender. He is a Homer in training IMO, he should take some boxing lessons in the summer cause he is a very strong individual, almost impossible to move off the puck, if he learned he could throw down with just about anybody. Long Live The Mule.

Calder was a great pickup, he reminds me alot of Cleary, both play the same kinda style. Franzen is a beast out there I loved that hit he put on Kieth, just flattened him. The Mule should take some boxing lessons in the Summer, he's a big guy and very strong, It be great if he learned how to fight.

Those lines look pretty Ideal, the only thing I wonder is where Sammy fits in once he gets back..

You watch, Lang always shows up to play in the Playoffs, as long as he does that I don't have a problem with him. Looks like the New 2nd line has some chemistry, hope Babcock doesn't break that line up.

Yeah that Cam Janssen hit last night was viscious, The players and refs didn't even see it, the puck was long gone and he blind sided Kaberle. IMO thats just as bad as what bertuzzi did. Until they get rid of the instigator rule this kind of stuff will just keep happening. Cheap shots are always going to happen, its a sad part of a game, the problem needs to be dealt with when it happens. Exp. Probert punching someone out for touching Stevie. Not 2 weeks down the road when you play the team again and have time to sit on the situation and dwell on it. Thats when the attacks get even more terrible and are "premeditated".

I noticed the other night that Hasek made a save and he got up a bit awkward. Don't know if that had anything to do with it but I hope this is just minor.

When I played I would watch Don Cherry Rock em Sock em tapes before I left for the game.

I have the CI package and it is showing the Det/Chi game on the HD channel. Hope that helps.
