Although I agree 100% the personnel on this team is not capable of doing that since they are so soft and have no guts. It has gone past pathetic and has now turned into a laughing stock. Sure the Wings will win there fair share of games but teams know, and have known, that you can get away with murder against the Wings for years now and will continue to do so. -

People are actually defending this disgusting display? Can't wait to see what the Don has to say about this on Coaches Corner and also hope someone on Tampa "gets" Asiminov next time they play. Good on Tampa for sticking up for their goalie. If Asiminov did that to the Wings no one would have done jack s***, Jimmy would have to do it himself.

Why oh why couldn't they just put Detroit in the Toronto division. Couldn't they just have an 8-7 split in both west and east conferences?

in fairness, tootoo did kinda try to jump over miller but he could have totally avoided him altogether. props to miller though for pounding that weasel after the fact.

Fill keeps raising his value and it is at an all time high right now. It be hard to imagine fill not being the centerpiece for a trade for a sniper. Either way hope he keeps this up.

Well it is December now and there is usually a few deals before the trade freeze. Something tells me our old pal Burkie is in on this.

The Wings always coast through the regular season with no problems but when the playoffs come teams real weaknesses are exposed. I wouldn't mind seeing this team get a bit tougher to play against when it counts.

What's wrong with Hunter? He has been an excellent coach for the London Knights of the OHL for many years now and won a Memorial Cup with them. They are one of the top team in the CHL right now and could be on their way to another Mem Cup appearance. He has also coached some great players over the years that have gone through London Knights system. I am sure he will be fine and is just what those underachievers in Washington need.

Am I the only one who thinks E hasn't been that bad? Sure he still makes some boneheaded plays but it looks like he is playing a much safer game out there and not taking as many risks. He is also stepping up the physical game as i've seen him step up for some big hits and has had a couple good ones recently. All he needs to do now is not stand around with his dick in his hand in front of the net and clear the crease better.
