yes, the 4th line is bad but i am glad to see homer finally be utilized correctly, as a PP specialist. stick him on the 4th line even strength and throw him in front of the net on the PP.

exelby is one of those guys who just goes unnoticed because he just goes out there and keeps it simple. he has actually looked better than commie from what i have seen so far. kindl has actually looked good and has outplayed big E. I think exelby has earned his spot as second D call up (after smith) if anyone goes down.

as soon as fabian got hit by aulie, he disappeared. and on the cbc broadcast they kept saying how babcock said that fabian is the strongest red wing. that scares me. i'd be willing to take a flyer on on him as the 13th forward for a while but im not sold with this small sample size in the preseason.

brunnstrum is a kenny type of guy so i could see him getting a minimum contract with the injuries. however, once everyone is healthy he will get dumped so i wouldn't get too excited. there is simply no room for him unless he seriously forces kenny's hand and a trade is made to make room.

whats going on with callahan? has he already been sent to GR?? would like to see him in a game over ferraro, see how he handles himself against and nhl player.

nyquist has impressed me more than brunstrum. I will take his 2 way play over soft floaters.

so where is the 45 or less option?

ugh, obviously unfortunate what happened but everyone just needs to move on. it's not like moore was some superstar who would have made 100 million dollars in his career, guy was a scrub and borderline nhler.. piss off

if big E uses his size more, clears the crease, and beats the piss out of people, he will be worth the contract. he needs to become a physical force, when E plays with a chip on his shoulder he is more involved in the game and at his best.

glad to see white with lidstrom. makes me more comfortable knowing lidstrom will be able to cover up whites defensive lapses.

this board is full of them. get used to it. I am only basing it on what I have seen of white from the many leafs games i have watched. I admit, i stopped following him when he left the leafs, but the guy is nothing special and a liability in his own end. i would have rather seen kaberle, who is just as bad defensively and soft, but a much better passer and skater. I will not post in this thread or about Ian White until the season starts. If he does well, I will gladly eat crow, but I expect him to be his same mediocre self. Good day.

where are people getting this better defensively than raffi from? was it from the 7 playoff games you saw him play? guy is terrible, trust me. i watched him play for the leafs for years, i just got a few texts from a couple of leaf friends of mine bashing the white signing. guess this is their payback when i did the same thing about lebda. I can't wait to bump this thread in the middle of november when people are calling for his head. would have been better off just playing smith instead.
