Kenny is probably working on getting a top 4 d man as we speak. I won't be disappointed if he doesn't though, I think Smith can jump right in to the top 4. No worries here

ok, so now that the dust has settled, here is an interesting holland quote: I for one would love to see Smith on the team next year and I think it's a real possibility. He could easily replace some of Rafalski's offense IMO.

anyone think this contract is strange? I know we all seem to be baffled at it. maybe holland has some secret agreement with a team needing to reach the cap floor to package ericsson with one of huds/flip and a prospect to land us bogosian or a young stud D man like that. -
