why do people overrate or D so much? we currently have one of the worst D in the league and will be 10x worse if lids retires.

Per Cap Geek #nhl #redwings could add a cap hit of ~$1.5m if they use all of Mike Modano's injury relief and ~2m if it's a goalie. -

this is his 3rd year in the NHL, how is he unproven?

shouldn't matter what time of season it is, holland should be looking to improve this team at all times.

don't know how credible this guy is but i don't see why someone would make this up. maybe there is some sort of conspiracy that lidstrom told kenny he is retiring after this season and kenny is trying to get another franchise d man of the future.

even if this isn't true kenny should be at least calling atlanta to see if a package like that would work. If he isn't then he's not doing his job, getting bogosian would be unreal and if he really is available kenny should be doing everything possible to get him. Bogosian is a guy you want to build your D around. Imagine a Smith/Bogosian top pairing 3-4 years down the road. The Wings have the assets, I pray this deal comes to life.

starting to get tired of kenny and his " insert injured player here" is our deadline acquisition. I'm not saying make a trade for the sake of making a trade but he should be trying to make this team better. this team will not win a cup this year with the current D and goaltending issues.

pretty sad when we all get excited for a fight that wasn't even that great, just goes to show how soft this team really is, franzen is a laughing stock when it comes to physical play.
