kinda hope miller and ritola can fetch something in a trade.... abby/helm/eaves draper/downey rotating in and out of the lineup. draper for injuries, and downey for when we play teams like vancouver and the ducks. with miller and ritolla gone, if there are injuries we can call up tatar/mursak etc and let them get their feet wet. but that is just me.

probably could have had hnidy at the same price with no bonuses. Not going to argue though, it's way better the kraijeck and it looks like babs got his man.

wow, didn't realize he only played in 14 games last year. Hopefully he is well rested, healed, and ready to go. Don't mind this signing, good defensively, finished checks, plays with and edge. in 08-09 had 107 hits and 143 blocked shots in 70 games. should fit in well.

mitchell aside boynton exelby hnidy lilja schubert witt jones ward mara mckee wonder why salei was the chosen one. all the guys I listed are 6th d men so i'm guessing since someone mentioned babcock had salei before is the reason why KH signed him.

take it for what it's worth but if khan speculation turns out to be true, I got an update on twitter that mitchell is close to his decision. Chew on that for a while. -
his cap hit is 1.75M.. most definitely spells the end of meech/ritola/miller. especially if we sign mitchell or someone of the like.

all for trading miller but don't expect nothing more than a 5th or a low level prospect

people need to get it through there thick skulls that abbdelkader will not be in GR at any point next year. he will be on the 4th line and the PK. babcock has stated this. why is this so hard to comprehend?

i like janik but there is a reason why he is a career ahl'er. I'd like to see kenny bring in a guy with lots of experience who can step in when ericsson or kindl falter, hnidy as an example.
