think of it this way. If yzerman still wanted to play and the wings gave him the shaft how do you think he/us would feel about going somewhere else? Thats how modoano feels. He is the yzerman of dallas.

if he really wanted to be a wings and play again I think he would have signed by now. Like you said he is probably discussing it with his family and contemplating if he should retire a star or not. Dallas gave him the shaft but there is alot of pressure from the dallas media to not go to another team and just retire which i hope is the case.

pretty hard to prove you can score at the nhl level when may and maltby are your linemates. Babcock also stated abby will be on the PK full time next year so GR is out of the question.

really good deal for miller and it may make him very attractive to many teams if he were to be traded at some point.

yeah I got baited there and actually thought he was serious but for the record abby,helm,eaces,flip,dats.z,cleary are all just as good if not better then miller defensively. that is all.

so those other 3 teams involved, those west teams??? I've heard chicago may be interested but I don't see how they could offer any more than the wings could. Modoano would be a great fit on that young LA team. Could be possible now that they are out of the Kovalchuk sweepstakes.

abby played 8 minutes a night with may and maltby...... of course he is not going to score. Put him between bertuzzi and cleary and i bet he could score 10-15 goals 30 pts no problem. Plus everything else that he brings he is easily worth 1M. I see him as a future 20-20 guy like cleary except hits more and will drop the gloves and if he is given a chance to center the third line this season I think he will surprise a lot of people. -
15M 3.75M cap hit seems like a good deal and its been rather slow today so far so hopefully this gets the ball rolling. I really want the modano saga to end today wether he signs or not.

damn right, he will forever be a wing. IF things didn't go down the way they did with the off ice stuff he would have been a wing his entire career.
