I know it seems like I have a huge man crush on horton but this is a 30 goal guy who has played on a s***ty team so far in his carrer, imagine what he could do with a datsyuk or zetterberg. He is only 24 and a million more than phil and the wings will have cap space after this season. I think kenny could make it work but would he do it is the question..... I don't know if he has the jam

the jury is still out on kindl, but it looks like pyett is putting it together, also smith is looking like a stud. Also lashoff and erdhardt look like they could be top six guys. Wings still have a lot of depth on D and i think kindl could be expandable if it means bringing a guy like horton to the wings. I also feel kindl can be a top 4 but who know how he will pan out. If kenny decides to make a splash to get a scorer here, kindl would definitely have to be part of the package.

i have a source telling me that filpula and kindl will be traded to florida for nathan horton and a 3rd (R4) more to come...

Canada plays Norway for their first game on Tuesday. Should be interesting to see if tolly really tries to make an impression on babs in that game to prove he belongs on the wings. I expect him to be very physical with the canadians and hopefully the wings brass takes notice. That or he could be absolutely brutal which i hope he isn't

wouldn't call junior A " a nothing league " considering many players play there before they get drafted to NHL... I agree with what else you said though. Although I think fillpula should be the centerpiece to get Nathan Horton in a Wings uniform
