leino is soft as baby s*** and can't skate, he does not belong in the NHL. You could have all the talent in the world, but if you can't skate at the NHL level you will not make it. /end thread

you just don't get it. Leino is not a 3rd line player he is supposed to be a top six player and is not getting the job done. He has had chance after chance with all the injuries and has not capitalized. If he had any sort of work ethic we wouldn't even be having this conversation. this is all moot anyway, until leino gets stronger and improves his skating he will NEVER be an NHLer

been very impressed with ritty, skates hard finishes checks and goes to the net to create scoring chances. Not afraid to go in the corners either. Looks like a solid kid too weighing in at 205 lbs, he is listed at 5-11 but he looks bigger than that. Definitely think he has a future with the wings

and patrick rissmiller, a borderline nhler leads grand rapids in scoring.... AHL means nothing if it doesn't translate in the NHL

any one of those guys with the exception of lebda deserve to stay more than leino. It's not all about scoring goals, which leino hasn't done it's about working your ass off every night which leino hasn't done either. I assume your one of the people who thought leino would score over 20 goals this season. Take off the finnish homer glasses man

love how some people are so quick to throw may and miller under the bus when they have done well for us this season, all to keep the golden boy, who has been a bust and is completely useless if not in the top 6, which he hasn't even come close to deserving to be a part of

I assume ritola will be sent down and I think leino needs some company in the press box in the form of maltby. here to hoping the lines look something like this: Zetts/dats/homer cleary/fil/bert eaves/helm/drapes may/abs/miller cheers :beerbuddy:
