Dude, sorry to hear that. You were in Section 107, right? I was sitting on the other side of the ice and a friend of mine was in that section and told me about it the next day. Said it was embarrasing. Please know that not all Pred fans are like that. I'll talk trash to ya if you show up wearing red but it's in a good natured sort of way. (don't want you to be too comfy in our barn )

Thank you betterred and SouthWF. It's posters like you and a few others that are ever so slightly makiing me change my view of the arrogant elitist wings fans. However there are always the jokers who think they know all and insist on using the dumb redneck remarks and telling us how we shouldn't have a team or that we are moving, blah, blah, blah. betterRed, thank you for pointing out the falsity of the large number of tickets sold to corporations. Not happening in Nashville, our individual seaon ticket holders make up the majority, 70% I believe, of all ticket sales. Also, even if we sold out our tiny arena every game we would still only rank around 17th in attendance.

No YG they didn't say he was dirty. They were pointing out the cheap shots/non calls on Pred players from the last two game. Of Course there were no cheap shots/no calls from the Preds (sarcasm on) I agree Crazy the St. Blewus announcers are terrible.

Come on Crisp and Weber are pretty damn evenhanded when they call games. There is some homerism, of course, but every announcing pair is inflicted with it, some alot more than others. On another note. Call me Mr. Simpson if you want, but I thought the Arnott hit was borderline. I don't think it was blatant. So tell me, what did you guys think when Hudler, I believe, boarded Hamhuis in the first. A non-call there, checked him right into the boards, elbow right into his back. Also, S. Weber should have been called for interference for throwing down whats his name.

Good game last night wings fans. Congrats. I want to make one last statement pertaining to the hatred for the wings. Last night was a perfect example. Both teams with substantial injuries, IMO, you guys were a little worse off. Because of this, I thougth the Preds would win, not destroy the wings, but win the game. But no. The wings played their system, played with intensity and pulled out a win. So that's why we hate the wings. No matter what, you guys always seem to find a way to win and never seem to panic. So again congrats. That was a really entertaining game and as other Pred fans has said...I feel fortunate that we escaped with a point.

I know next to nothing about this Bootland guy...but you HAVE to love a guy who's named Bootland. Oi! Oi!

To schneids: I think the wings have only won 1 cup since the Preds have been in the league. I think you have to compare teams during the time they've both been in existance. Other wise it's like a 60 year old saying to a 9 year old "I've screwed 30 women, what do you say to that youngster." to enforcer: don't know willy29. I'm a new and improved troll. To wings fans: This whole wings suck thing...speaking for myself anyway, doesn't really mean the wings are aweful and they suck. It's more like "I hate the wings." Noone can honestly say the wings suck. I mean come on...look at what they've accomplished and they're level of play!! This Preds fan has npthing but respect for this team. Your scary and fun to hate. Do you guys really think Bert was a good pick up? I mean, sure the conditional aspect of the trade was brilliant, so you really didn't give up anything if he tanks. But do you think the back will hold up. And he's not expected to play till late March, do you think there will be a long adjustment period before he can make an impact? Do you think he might mess up the chemistry at a crucial time?

I think you are selling your team short. The Preds have some serious injuries as well, we have three 20 goal scorers and Fberg out of the lineup. The way the wings play, you are almost never out of a game. That being said...I hope it's a good game but I do hope you lose.

I just read this whole thread and one of your people said the wings one 3 cups. Well, is it 3 or 10?? Boy you guys don't know she-at about hockey. I've been lurking on this board for a while, finally decided to join the fun. Okay, wings ten cups, Preds none. How long were the wings in the league before they one 1? The cups argument doesn't really hold water. Anyway, good luck tonight. It should be interesting how our respective MASH units play tonight.
