Some of the Pudge comments make it obvious hockey is a lot of our #1 sports. Back on point: I think it was a great move. Dave Dombrowski completely hosed the Yanks on this one. Sure, I'm thankful that Pudge took a shot with the Tigers, not to mention lured in Ordonez and started the turn around. But lets face it, he was past his prime. Sure, his batting average is nearly .300 again, but geez people, he couldn't even play every game anymore. Getting Farnsworth at this point is like trading Hasek for Stuart at the deadline? How many of you would make that deal?

League wide, I always though D&Z were underrated, but not after this series. Underrated: Osgood Overrated: Franzen. Don't get me wrong, I love Franzen and all the attention he's getting, I'm just answering the question. He is on a great streak and is showing brillance on the ice, but he has yet to prove he's the real deal.

Generally hockey town is packed near 5. Seeing as how this is the clinching game, it may be closer to 3. Cheli's has a lot of seating, generally if level one is full they open up the second floor, I've never had a problem showing up at 630 for a quick bite before a game...including non-cup playoffs games.
