I live just outside of toledo ohio and ever since i was little my dad and i always rooted for the team closest to us, and detroit is olny like an hour away so it was either the wings or the blackhawks i guess and the jackets werent around then...not a tough choice, but reading all theese posts from people from texas and london and switzerland, that must suck to not be able to watch ur favorite team all that much, i never thought about that... -
Thats why i cant stand watching hockey on canadian channels like cbc,especially in the playoffs, they are so bias towards the canadian teams i think it takes away from the game... even the commercials are bad...i donno maybe its just me, sry to get off topic...

if your looking to get pizza i highly recomend Pizza Papalis in greektown, its not far from the joe and there is a really good pastry shop a couple doors down from the pizza place, they are both amazing

this is my first post so take it easy on me...... does anyone think that datsyuk's recent playoff performance woes can be attributed to the amount of leadership on the team? as far as forwards i mean, he's always had yzerman, shanny, hull, robitaille,fedorov,draper, maybe now since most of them are gone and he's one of the offensive leaders and point producers he will realize that he has to step up? what do you think?
