    Franzen update

    Holmstrom went down with an injury anf Franzen replaced him on the 1st line. He had been told to shoot a lot more by the coaching staff, but I don't think his confidence level was high enough for him to start thinking like a scorer. (He was also being played on a defensive oriented line due to his size & mobility.) I think that playing on the top line finally helped him to blossom into a scorer and significantly boosted his confidence. Franzen was asked about his scoring and he commented that he had always been told to shoot more, but he just didn't see himself as a goal scorer. Looks like he's had a change of heart. His scoring didn't drop off when moved from the top line at all.

    I was kinda sick of the "giant killers" tag line that Versus was using for the Stars. (Especially when we were up three games to none.) This one should be expanded to catch all of the detail...... The look on Ribiero's face is priceless.

    Thanks. I had forgotten about Sportsline's high res pics. I had been there a long time ago. I just wish that they had more off-ice pics. Thanks again!

    Does anyone have a good resource for high quality, large format pics of the players? Individual pics are preferred? I scour the internet looking for pictures, and they're not always easy to come by. I like the off-ice pics.....like many I've seen on fan websites in the past, but it seems to be getting harder and harder to find good quality stuff. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks!!

    Wow....are they ever testy on the Stars message board. As usual , the Wings get ALL OF THE CALLS. So, in that message board's honor................... (It really should be expanded to full size to enjoy.)
