See, I disagree. I am not saying nor will I ever say that Z is not important to the team. The heart though, not so sure. Maybe a valve of the heart but the whole heart? It is not a loyalty thing or maybe it is, as soon as Hossa became a Wings I was loyal to him as any other wing. I like to think my loyalty is more towards the winged wheel then any individual player. I just think Hossa is slightly better then Z and if I had to chose Z/Mule or Hossa/Mule I would choose the ladder. Idealy I would keep Hank and Hossa, or all three. I am just putting a bit of logic in my thoughts. The only way I will be totally disappointed is if we only retain one of the Big Three.

I disagree. Huds trade value is far less then his actual value to the team. I am not sure wether or not Babs dislikes him and i think that does not hold enough water. Hudler is a great player and will never demand much money. I say that Hudler is worth keeping almost souly on his value in the locker room. Bottom line is if you wish to get a good goalie with Hudler it won't happen. Noone will trade someone that can contribute to this team like he does. Trade value > Team Value I am not saying your stupid or anything but your logic rivals a crazy persons! LOL

I know I will get murdered for saying this but I would rather have Hossa and Franzen, then Zetterburg and Franzen. Ideally I would like to keep Hossa and Zetterburg the most but is unlikely. It will definitly be an exciting offseason this year. I also find it very, very unlikely the Wings make some huge Deadline Deal for a goalie. Hopefully our goalies will break the rut.

I know alot of us are from Michigan and have little faith in anything right now, but seriously why are we critisized everytime we have any faith? If we want to have positive feelings about our #1 division, #2 confrence team then by all means we should be allowed without all the doubt. All right man, lets just follow suit... I understand your frustration, I do. The wings have been slightly frustrating. Here is my complaint with your post. You propose Babs is the issue. You propose he swapping lines to much. He did not start doing that until two games ago. When things get stale it is pretty common to swap lines up. As far as ZDH versus Dats and Hossa, have you seen the numbers? Our top two lines are rolling.... HARD. I think your grasping at straws with this. The reason the sharks are doing so well is Todd has taken everything he learned from Babs and applying it to the Sharks. Lets not think for 1 minute that Todd is the reason for our success. Our issues are on the defensive end. At this time we do not have a goalie that is coming up with the game winning saves/ Our defense is out of whack as well. We need to tighten up the net and the blueline. I believe the Wings are ranked pretty high in goals this year. I think right now we need 3 goals per game to win... Thats not Red Wings hockey. This is not a Coaching problem. Babs is one of the best in the league.

I don't think you did the right or wrong thing. I think he expects to have some attention towards him as do all famous people. I don't support being to bothersome. When I met Pavel I did not go up to him, I was chicken s***. My friend kept telling me too but I felt like I was bothering him too. My friend did the initial approach and he seemed all about the company. Had you have gone up and said hi or asked for a quick autograph there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Now there is something creepy about the guys that start following around people like that. I looked at it as when will I have the oppurtunity again to tell my favorite Red Wing how I respect his skill...

Also annoying about this guy is he post his blog then never goes back in the thread again. I for one am boybotting his poorly written blog.

I think your regret of joining is well earned if you truly think this will happen. Honestly you can be sick of everything but it still does not change the fact that this is a public forum and fans can talk about what they will. Do i tire of the negativity sometimes sure, that is when I don't post in that thread. I find it strange that you created a post being completely negative about the fact that your sick of the negativity. Also there are slap-happy fans that never see the bad side and there are realistic and educated fans that see the bad and think of realistic ways to change them and then the completely doom and gloom, the sky is falling fan. One fact remains they are all fans.

Wow! They are really nice. I think it would be cool for someone to raise money for a good cause by selling one. With all the economical issues at least someone can afford extremely expensive jewelery!

So I had to tell you all that I just had a wonderful experiance. I went with a friend to Hockeytown Authentics so he could get his girlfriend a Z jersey for Xmas. As we are walking through the store we walk past a very short man and two taller guys. All of which were speaking Russian, well at least that is what I know now. I said that is a strange little man to myself and turned around. None other then my favorite Red Wing is stanging there who obviously just noticed my noticing him and he smiled. So I said, Whats up Pavel! With my s*** eating Fan Boy grin. After about twenty minutes of not going up to him cause I was nervous, my friend and I walked over and shook his hand. We talked for probably 2 minutes. He was purchasing Red Wings Merchandise galore. I am talking stacks of t's, sweatshirts, hats and jackets of Red WIngs stuff. My buddy asked him if he was doing some christmas shopping and he said that he wants to see Red Wings stuff all over the place when he goes home to Russia! Ya'll know he is a joker and he was funny. So I bid him farewell and left. As soon as I got in the car I fumbled for my phone to call my wife and realized I had left it at the office. So I called a friend to get my wifes phone number and immediatly called her. I basically begged to return and buy a jersey and have him sign it for me. Eventually she let me and I did. He personalized it for me and everything! I have a picture in my friends phone that I will try to post. I am stoked and thought I would share my experiance.

I don't know where you live but in Garden City there is a store called Fanatic U. The folks there are die hard Detroit fans and the customizing is a bit cheaper. I think. If you don't live near Garden City, you can go to www.fanaticu.com. Seriously these folks are so awsome that every year in the playoff's they put an opposing team jersey in front of the door to wipe your feet on. Tell me that is not the bestest!!!!!!!!!!!!!
