Your whole post makes sense. The bolded part really stuck to me though, I would be willing to gamble that would be the case. I think Crosby is an amazing player. I think as far as my annoyance with Sid is that is all you hear anymore. Everyone is compared to him. EVERYONE! Everything is about him. EVERYTHING! The league has other players who are just as exciting and get little to no recognition. I think Bettman's worked well though, a true hockey city and a true hockey fan develops a spiteful hatred for him. The casual fan from non hockey markets love the commercials.

Last season I did the color guard for a game and we got invited back to a suite. I watched the entire game with Gordie Howe! That was equally amazing! I have had pretty good luck.

I think I was not complete with my statement. I do not, absolutely do not think Ozzy is a bad goalie or I am ready to throw in the towel. s*** I was here for the playoff's. Ozzy played great before and is great. He WILL come back around.

Ozzy needs improvement but I totally agree with you. The NHL designed this to happen. Hence the Penalties getting called when a team is ahead. The no rest after ice. The game is designed to be high scoring. It is exciting hockey. It is extremely frustrating. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING! It is none the less exciting hockey. I usually don't get passionate about games this early, okay yes I do, but man it is frustratingly exciting.

All I have to say on it is last year another goalie went through a similar slump. Alot of us crucified him. Some of you have such a man love for Ozzy that I have heard and read a few saying that it is all on the d... All on Lidstrom. Let's get serious.

I agree. Throwbacks are the best. I really like Chicago's and St Louis's the most. I do hope the Classic Jersey becomes our 3rd Jersey.

Unfortunatly I cannot watch. 1st game this season I will miss the entire thing. I think it is a great match up. IMO this is the best team in the east right now.

QFT I agree. I think that the day of the elite unbeatable goalie may be close to over. The league is designed for high offensive games. With the penalty calling alone this season is pretty obvious. Oz has let in a few soft goals. He has made me yell with frustration but to say he is the worst starter in the league... I don't agree.
