I know this will get eatin up but I want the wings to play better but it does make for more exciting hockey. I mean last year besides for like a month late in the season it was almost pure domination. They only thing we could debate was who was better out of a great tandom. I just think that it really is creating excitment. Sloppy play and something to scream at the TV about is kinda nice. In an assbackwards sort of way.

It is pretty funny... As for him retiring a wing... It is actually on my Christmas list. To bad I am not on the good lists.

That's just funny!!! Anyway, I really enjoyed Conklin last season. I told my wife to pick him up in our fantasy league and she did. I regretted sharing the info. Last season I found my self watching the Pens game just to watch him, the good days when I had center ice. I enjoy his style and was pissed when he automatically lost the starter job to Fluery but it worked out for them. I am definitly not in favor of throwing Ozzy in the fire like some, at this point though Conklin is the better goaltender and is relishing playing behind our D. Good for them both. I am just excited to see the Wings play their game.

I think the Wild look good, lets not be overzealous though. Their defense did not exactly shut the Pens down. The third period was owned almost completely by the pens or a long drawn out battle in the Nuetral Zone. Backstrom kept them in the game and won it for them. The Wild are good but need to get alot better offensively to be really considered a contender. I mean they will make the playoff's, but really only like two teams don't.
