Wow! I agree I thought he would test the market. There has been alot of changes in the right direction, or atleast a hopeful direction. Honestly I am happy it is $8.5 (give or take), that does not seem like to much. Maybe .5 to much but for nine years it will be a good deal. I hope that Hank signs for less but lets face it, he probably won't so if the Vinny deal is like a measuring stick it is not horrible. It is a little unsettling that Hank will have to make so much more then Datsyuk, but hey that is the cap world.

You know what I hate about this ass? I hate that Detroit is getting beat on from all angles. Our economy sucks, our jobs are fading, all the auto giants are leaving or left. More plants close every other month. More people lose thier homes everyday. Every block has an empty home and not just the city but the burbs too. All we have to be excited about is our sports. In today's unsuraties, we know the Wings will play. The Lions will play. The Tigers will play. The Pistons will play. Assurdly some will fail but some will win. Championships, Conference finals, Playoff's, even a regular season will give us a jump. A shining hope that things may get better. On the week following a huge victory, bringing the Stanley Cup home again all this puke has to say is that tomorrow is going to be grim. Well Nastradamus, thank you for attempting to piss in our Kool-aid but we already drank it all and patiantly awaiting the next Tigers game. We look forward to the Wings owning the League again next season. We look forward to the future of the Pistons. Yes, Nancy Drew, we even look forward to the Lions playing on Thanksgiving Day in the fall. So nice attempt, now kindly please return your head to your butt.

I know that most will not like this but I am very happy to hear this. I know some will say it is charity but I think Mac played pretty well. That and it is no secret i have been an avid supporter since he was in Flint. I think he fits in well and he is Detroit. As far as a full time member I think he should be most of time, we need an enforcer. I hope that Downey still has a chance. I did like him alot too.

Dedication. I say this cup is for us. The FANS the true fans, bandwagon fans and every one in between. It is for the fans that stay up for the west coast games. The fans that only shrug thier shoulder when people say regular season games do not matter. The fans that get into arguements over goalies, because thier passion and love for thier guy makes them emotional. The fans that watch every minute of the game instead of American Idol. The fans that wear thier red and white at the games instead of a buisness suit or some trendy Hollister Tee. The fans that gripe, complain, cuss, throw adament objects because of a bad call. Fans that feel terrible because of a loss. Fans that are hungover today because they celebrated until the wee hours. Fans that respect one another but are willing to make someone feel stupid with knowledge. Fans who hate Tiger Wood's for his stupid comments. Who hate Gary Bettman. Fans that support the wings win or lose, 1st round exit or Stanley Cup. It is for us. The fans that spew tasteless jokes in the Chat room. The fans that decorate thier house even though it looks trashy. For the pick up truck riders for celebration. For the kids that stayed awake. Even for the fickle fans that just jumped on the bandwagon. You have to start somewhere. To US. Cheers.

Matt, This site provides the most eclectic (spelling) group of fans. I have told you numourous times how much I enjoy the site. For those shouting thanks and have not donated before, not saying you have to, but that would probably be the best thanks. Also a huge thank you to Aflac and all the mods. In a nuttshell I don't go to tsn or espn or any other news source because I know within minutes it will be posted here. Awsome site and keep up the great work. J

Money! I am so tired of the Wings play a weak division... Blah, blah, blah. Could it not be said the same about the entire eastern confrence? Maybe, maybe not. The fact still remains that we got beat up playing the likes of Columbus, St Louis, and Chicago while running through the Ducks, Sharks, Flames and the sort..... Really does it matter if you underestimate Nosepik? We are not the ones trying to score... Maybe Orpik is underestimating the Datsyukian dyke? Or the friendly shoulder of Kronic?

Should we not be. Between the two teams we have a good many possible HOF players. The two best teams one the ice. The Wings in the West and the Pens in the East. If Bettman was not a complete tool this could truly draw some much needed attention to the game.

Honestly anywhere cheep in the D will be accompanied by hookers and dealers. I would look to Dearborn to stay. Unless you want to drop a nice dime for the casino. Eat... I think Cheli's Chili would be great for pens fans. Or possibly Mickey's Broadcast Booth in Allen Park.

I would definitly say confidence around here was invisable the last two games. Which is the norm around here! As far as match up, I don't think the Wings have played a team like the Pens yet this playoff's. The same respect for the Pens. As far as scoring they are our biggest threat. Goaltending? Possibly but that was said about Ellis, Theadore and Turco we know who won that battle. I am nervous and am not by any means assuming a win. The Wings have every tool needed to win, will they use them? I think so. GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!! Stanley Cup M'F'n Finals!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every year it is the same thing. No, every loss it is the same thing. Who we throw under the bus. It is always someone. Hasek, Sammy, Cheli, and if something does not change it will be Ozzy. Hhe inje came out playing great in the begining of the seasont he, died down a bit but on most teams would have been a 3rd line defender. Then when the injury bug bit, he was a top 2 defender and played the PP. Granted we were not winning but he was impressive without showing his age.
