Babs returned saying that anyone can look over an entire game and find scrutiny and be able to make something where there is not. He said that the Officials have a harder job then any other sport and they do a good job.

Man i am not trashing him, I am just saying the only way caps win is secondary scoring. Don't be to partial and give the rest of the team credit for coming back from 2 goal deficit. Without those four goals from the rest of the Ovechkins it would be 4-1...

Strong statement but may not be far from true. He really does bring a level of excitment to the game. Tonights victory can be accreditted to secondary scoring though.

Great GDT. I am so pumped. I came home from work today after an awful, awful day and was surprised when I found a huge Stanley Cup Replica on my porch behind a bright red spot light. The last time my dad had it out was the sweep to the cup, he said it should bring good luck and brought it to my house. My house is completely decorated now and the beer has been delivered. I know you state this same thing every 5 threads or so, I get it man. I understand that you think I shoudl agree with you but no matter how many times you state it my view will not change. Bottom line it is how I feel and I think others do to. Dats was the most valuable player of this season... Detroit has not gone with out Datsyuk for two straight seasons now, not sure when he missed time but he played every single game this season and is on something like 180 consectutive games. Again my top four would be 1. AO 2. Malkin 3. Datsyuk 4. Brody 5. Lids I don;t expect you to agree with me. It is just my opinion.

While Lidstrom is the true and tested leader of this team, I disagree that he is this season's MVP. He was a huge lose when he was injured but I think it was more the entire D was out for almost all of that huge slump. Lids gets the credit to it being him we missed but Raf, Chelios, Kronner and others with the Captain is what was really missed. When the top d line rolling was Meech and Lilja things are bad. Real bad. I do not in any way mean to discredit Lids, Dats has been the teams MVP this season... That is just my view.

Wow. Very impressive. I wonder how many people think he is the most valuable for the Wings, THIS SEASON. I mean he should not win the Hart but he should at least see consideration. I have been screaming his praise all season. I am glad some are coming around...

I doubt it is an upset but the Caps will probably lose to Philly. I don't think it is an upset because Philly has more points but Caps have the seed.

I don't know what to type so I will type that it is only two days and some hours till the playoff's. I am excited, there are some posters on LGW that I think if I met face to face I might want to punch them in the knee.
