Have you ever even been to Nashville. If Nashville is small minded trailor trash then you need to find your double wide and park it.. Sorry man your an idiot. First and foremost I would much rather walk around downtown in the Ville the downtown any day. People are nice and the area is absolutely beautiful. Great bars, nice restuarants and all the fixins. The fans in the Arena while some things they say get om my nerves, should'nt it. Sorry but all this "class" here in the Joe has caused for a boring environment to watch a game. Funny is we have all this "class" and yet we still refer to people as white trash. While there are some of thier fans that are annoying and frustrating, so are some Detroit fans. Honestly there are "some" I would not even watch a game with. Just saying man you should attend and see the area before being a complete tool. Women down there that would turn your head around a hundred times to, although that may not interest you.

Man I have so many. Or my crew has a ton I guess. I invite everyone possible over to the house and we get angry when people are not paying attention to the game. I have a vodka and red bull drink mixed in my 101st Glass mug. I have to have red and white straws, If i can find them. Last year the straws were orangeish though. I have a wing nut that is in close proximity if not on. It is covered in duck tape from some of the frustration of tossing it or the recreation of the miracle of life. It is torn up pretty bad. Jersey is a most. Last year it was my Bertuzzi jersey which has sense been banned from any ritual. I am going to stick with trusty 19... I have an air horn that has to be sounded upon scoring and winning the game. I decorate a bit too. Can't think of anymore right now but booster313 may have a few i forgot.

Haha. This is amusing. You hate that for the first couple of years other teams fans made your teams money. I go to the Gaylord, oh sorry you had to rename your arena already, Sommet Center probably more times then most of the fans in the building. I would go in my Wings "garb" and see everyone's mint condition, brand new jersey's strutting around barely knowing what a blueline is. The fans have come along way but I remember going to games and half the arena was empty and the half that filled it half of them were wings fans. I did not move down to TN when the Michigan auto companies decided to move plants down there to stimulate the economy for TN. Believe me we wish they would shut down plants and move back. I was stationed at Ft Campbell and went down every chance I could for a game. I used to take a trip to a game once or twice a season until last year. My wife and I were treated so badily that I am not sure she would go back. Then some punks tried to fight us on the street next to broadway for having wings jersey's on and I asked them to name three players on the Preds and they were stuck...

I think he is trying to say that the situation, hype and the positioning definitly sets the tone for an upset. Just to point out, I think he is partially right. How many times in sports history do fans have to see upsets until the find it happens... Alot. More so in hockey then any other sport. I definitly am not saying that the wings will lose. I am cautious. Example: Washington is the worse team in the East to grace the playoff's and everyone is on thier g-strings....

Thier arena has so much energy it is a great time but the fans can be complete assholes. When the schedule comes out we can take a look.

I have tickets to game 2 and game 5. Although my firends girlfriend is going to game two... Kinda bummed about that but whatever. I don't even know if I will be able to attend game 5. OsGod, 8 hr raod trip. I know the way it is easy and a fun ride. Lets get everyone and go. The city is amazing and reasonably priced for hotel/drinky. Plus they let everyone with Military Id into bars no cover, and everyone with them. I got the hook up!!!!!

If I was a coach or GM I would be hoping for my first meet up against the caps. Shut down one line and bam it is all mine. I will take any bets that they get knocked out first round. The are playing Montreal first round, now that is a team I would be fearing. Those are ingredients that make a good playoff team. The Cans ingredients make a beautiful cake, the Caps make a lopsided and dry cake with no frosting...

I would rather not go without either of them. Since I have no control over who gets injured. I will play God for a moment, it really depends who else goes down. Everyone credits the absence of Lids to our losing streak. I think the absence of almost our entire starting Defense was sidelined was to credit. if we could have retained Raf, Kronner, Cheli, and Stewie it would not have been that bad. I know Datsyuk was still producing during that dry spell. The Oz was not playing well either. I knew it would cause drama for me saying that, it still pays to not have the same view as everyone else. I say things that go against the norm and eventually it pays off. I just wish that when looking at this team people could remove thier blinders.

It is, unfortunatly AO has drawn attention. So much so that I think a few of these guys are jumping ship. It is like when you buy new clothes which ever looks the most clean and sexy is what gets all the wear time.

I am not really sure how unbelievable they are in the third seed. That was the only way they were getting in and the Caps and Carolina were only a couple points apart for a few weeks now. Anyhow congrats to them, I am guessing they will last five games.

I guess the beauty to this whole thing is everyone is entitled to thier own opinions. Lidstrom is phenominal but this season the most available player on the wings is Datsyuk.
