Loo, I was not saying he should. You gotta relax a little. If you have the flu and have been off for nine days it is probably more then the flu. Maybe your boss should go back to the docs, lol. Unless it is better that he is gone. I think you know better then most that I am a fan of Dom and think he shoudl start in the playoff's, although I am not scared in the least if Oz does. I was just saying, are the possibilities good if Dom cannot start before the playoff's will he auto-bench. Maybe I am spoiled but I know the injuries that Yzerman played through, the flu just seems like it is something that could be played through...

YES!!!! I am so very happy! i really am hoping no nay-sayers will ruin this wonderful news. I am very curious also to see what he can bring. I think they might reunite the line for a minute but long term not so sure. Man i am totally excited. Great. Question: Definitly not to start a goalie war. This deep and close to playoff's is it possible that we are going to roll Oz in the playoff's?? What the hell, dom? It is the F'n flu. I have seen someone down with the flu for a few days but this is a really long time...

Once again OsGOD, we agree. Seriously we get so blinded so fast. Also this was a great fight, why would the other goalie not stick up for himself. When the whole TEAM is fighting and the opposing goalie is coming at you he probably does not want to talk about dancing with the stars. Roy did what he thought was right for his team. Flipping off the fans, lets get some rebels back in hockey. Probert, Mac, Kocur all guys who would fight someone regardless if they wanted to fight. The most exciting rival probably in our generation of fans. We hate Roy because he brought that excitment to us. Best goalie fight I think I have ever seen.

Nice thread Crymson I totally agree. Alot of DRW fans are very dramatic and doom and gloom, but they are still great fans. I like to see a little positivity. I missed the game due to my son being born but heard they won. So that is awsome...

I do actually value your opinion and in the last thread it was someone else calling everyone who did not agree stupid. I think you just took it personal. It was a bit over the top with the Hitler thing but you must admit the little yellow smiley's with Nazi signs at the end was pretty damn funny. I thought a couple of your points in the first thread were valid. Where we then agreed how amazing as a player AO is and the only thing we disagreed on was the playoff part. Just to recap like the fat guy on NHL on the fly... The one that said the Detroit fans are sick of the wings because they do great all season and then get bounced round 1 or round 2. He is retarded. I dunno I am running very low on sleep. I am sitting in a hospital room as I have been since 3pm yesterday and boredum stricks. Our debate was nice and the went personal. I apologize. Look at this way in a few days we will most likely totally agree on something other people disagree with and we will validate each others perspectives. That is the beauty of this thing, I don't always agree but educated hockey fans will eventually agree on something... Agree to disagree.....

Immaturity, immaturity. Don't make it something it is not. You need to go reread your post before getting all drama queen over my remarks. You called anyone who disagreed stupid and should be embarresed. Among other things. That just seems very Hitler esq to me. That's all. If you don't want people to come back at you don't call people stupid. Which is far more offensive. I mean I may actually be stupid but you will never be Hitler. Saying that Toskala or whoever could play in net for the Sharks and the outcome they same, then that just shows your knowledge depth. Sure your opinion depth is as deep as the ocean but your knowledge depth seems to be just a puddle. Alright, done and done. Agree to disagree as they say....

So Kunitz and Maltby are like brothers??? HAHA. I think that players wearing visors should also wear muzzels.

Ya know, I just seen this briliant post of yours and had to comment. Your a little ridiculus, first your just whining cause this thread trashed your other thread that both were made to discuss our opinions of AO and the Hart. I am very happy that you know all about everything and any one else that has a differant opinion knows nothing of nothing. You should be embarrased of your self mini-hitler. Those were his views, if your not like me you should die. Your a little over the top. YES I AM WILLING TO TELL YOU IF THE CAPS DO NOT MAKE IT he should not get the Hart. i am stupid, i am sorry. I feel sorry for you to bud, because you are a self rightous fool. You should start a new thread that says I know everything about hockey. Come in here and agree with my views or I will attempt to make fun of you and send you to the gas chambers..... Then have a bunch of little yellow smiley's with Nazi symbols at the bottom saluting your every fact about hockey.

I was agreeing with you on Malkin. I appearantly mistyped or something. I reread it and it makes sense. When people disagree they tend to skim over there post and look for the assualt points, I do it accidently all the time. As far as Datsyuk, I would like to know who deserve's it above him? Hopefully one would be Lids, other then that I cannot think of one.... Atleast that I could not attempt to argue. Amen. Great post. Dats is the all around guy. Defense, offense, and even goaltender (kidding). He can play multiple roles dangler, playmaker, defensive forward, offensive forward, and hell he even lays some body ever now and again. A super all around player. Sometimes it is just the glitter and glam that gets all the love. You have to have 60 goals to even get a glance I suppose. The Hart is also only for offensive players too. So don't get any ideas Lidstrom... LOL! Just kidding around guys.

My man, I think I either you misinterpureted what I was saying or my written word has mislead. I was agree ing with Mr. Eva that Malkin does not deserve a look over AO or really even consideration. Also when you score 60 goals your going to have a high +/- because out of 60 goals and 106 pts there are some bound to be PP's. Lets not be blind he is put on the ice facing the extra man for 2 reason's. The Caps have very few options. His speed will result in the empty net goal...Almost all of the time. Now I feel because we disagree you pick everything I write apart and put your twist on things. I like your views but to think that AO gets alot of media attention when compared. Crosby's hig ankle sprain was the biggest story of the year for some feeds. AO's sixtieth got coverage but no where near the high ankle sprain and the Pens without Crosby saga... Also if you ae going to consider Broduer for the Hart, then you MUST consier the Iron Man Nabakov. With out him starting every game for the Sharks they would not be as good. You want to talk Mot Valuable Player we need to talk Nabby. A team that rely's on one player, there you have it. Yes the Sharks have depth an great players but no team has had todepend on someone as much as the Sharks have Nabby, and they not only made the playoff's but made a tear to the top!!! For those who think goalies should not be considered need to... wake up?

I hope your not reffering to Ozzy or Vernon... Ozzy vs Roy Roy Vs Vernon (I would say Vernon has the upper hand but not by a complete as whopping.) The infamous Dom vs Roy Roy vs Yzerman (This is a true and career ending Ass beating!) I also found a few little better Quality J. Roy Vids... Sorry still in Frenchanese http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V300TvmWuxU

Duck guy, You know I hate the ducks more then most do but I would absolutly LOVE to Mr. Kunitz in a Wings Jersey. Man that energy on our bench, that would be amazing. So would many of these folks trashing him now but thats what it is being a fan. Kunitz sucks and I hate him... as long as he wears that awful jersey and not the red and white envy of the league!

LOL. I only wish I could have been here. Funny thing is that alot of you are the one's calling for more grit and grim in hockey then call Young'n Roy a tool and an ass and other choice names. Sure does not make sense sometimes. I have to add that I cannot think of one game as exciting as the any of the Avalanche games during the old rivalry... Hmm. I hope Roy does make it. Actually when dom was pretending to fight the other day it forced me to stir up the plan ass whipping that Roy laid on Ozzy and a pretty good beating on Vernon. The only thing I could say is damn they got f*cked up bad. My blood started warming and my heart started beating. Those were the days....

Ya know, I have been kind of against the AO for Hart thing from the get go. I am a stickler for at least making the playoff's. On this point I totally agree with you, it is unfair to say that Malkin deserves it over AO. The Pens have a far better team then the Caps, far better. Malkin did rise to the occasion but not like AO did for the year. Also, I like AO. Probably the most exciting player to watch on the ice at this time. I think he is very talented and does deserve recognition for his accomplishments this season. I am just not sure it is Hart quality. He has 60 goals, but is weak in the defensive side. Also I know everyone disagree's with this point but I think it is essential for the MVP to come from a playoff team. The Most Valuable Player should be able to not only relish in his own accomplishments but also elevate the team as well. If it were not HALF the league that obtains a playoff spot it could be justified. All of this may be a moot point because the Caps have a real chance at getting into the playoff's. If the do grab that last spot, by all means he gets MVP. IF they can make it out of the first round then there is no doubt in my mind. The thing I am having trouble with is deciding who else deserves the Hart. Ofcourse with my craziness for the red and white I believe Lidstrom and possibly Datsyuk deserve at least a little consideration. Also if it is a great player making a bad team better then Nash should get some thought. I have really been racking my brain and just cannot think of some realistic options. I also think there is a conspiracy against AO. The NHL wants Sid to be the number one guy. Sid got an ankle injury and it is all NHL network could wrap thier mouths around. AO hits 60 goals and he barely gets a five spot. So AO is already against the world.

According to the Detroit Free Press Dom gets the start undoubtly??? The mystery is on... http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article.../803220390/1053

I don't really feel the need to list three that could replace him. He is deserving for consideration, if his team sneaks that last playoff spot then I could say he gets it. His differance is viable at that point, he made an actual differance for his team. As far as your opinion that goalies should not get the Hart, well there is an opinion, a truly nice thing. Can you name me three awards that goalies could get? J/k.
-
So really everyone saying it is bulls*** for some of us to feel he should not get the hart, let me lay some track. First and foremost everyone is entitled to there opinion! Second, I personally feel that there are players in the league that have made a bigger impact in a larger picture sense that the Hart should go to. One MVP should be great at both sides of the ice, Sid or AO has been pretty much one sided players. They are coming around but far from being two way players. As far as getting into the playoff's or not should be taken into consideration since half the f'n league gets in the playoff's, that would mean as MVP of the entire league you should be able to get your team to rise above and be in the better half at least! Definitly if you are the MVP of the league you should be able to make a viable differance for your team not just getting out of the gutter and stuck in the dirty nasty leaves just above it. Contract hit, when comparing Sid and AO the differance is Pitt already has some talent on the team. Caps have very little, hell they can really only run a half of a line. Also I think that some need to stop being so ridiculous to call other peoples opinions bulls*** because thier view is differant then yours. Grow up.

I would much rather have Feds sign here in July!!!

I see what your saying. I actually really like his emotion when he celebrates. I think I said in the thread that discussed that a couple days back I said it was refreshing. I love to watch him play, he is absolutely amazing. Definitly deserves more cred then Sid. I do think taking so much money handicapped his team. The reason (i think) he got so much is because he spoke of his intrest to leave. I do think the Hart is more then scoring goals. I am definitly not saying you need to be in the Playoff's to be named and I think it is absolutely disgusting that it almost always comes from the winner. I am just not sure about it. I definitly see your point and value your opinion.
-
I think that he will get the Hart regardless if he deserves it or not. I think he is an amazing player, a lot like Gretzky. He is selfish, slightly greedy and has very active emotions. Personally someone that will demand the amount of money he did from the caps for so long definitly does not deserve the Hart. He has handicapped his team from being successful, and that is not a most valuable player to me... But none the less he will get it because he is one of nine players that have achieved something great.
-
How about you just don't slam someone's thread and just not post? Just a thought... Anyhow I think I would prefer Nashville in the first round over Vancouver. Although I am not terribly afraid of either team. I am hoping the fishes and the ducks face off first round. Just so they beat each other down. I am sure Pronger will be suspended three times for a period each for murder or something.

NHL Playoff slogan's... based on Seinfeld episodes..

I guess I have to be a fine of the show to get it.... You get an A for effort, or would that be affort? -
Good topic. I was just saying to my friend how happy I was with Kronner's play this season about two months ago. To find he has similar stats to Schnieder was very interesting. I personally feel that Kronner is a little bit better due to his ability to lay the body. Last night for example he had some really nice hits. Schnieds was not much for physical play. To me they both have a high injury risk. I think the value with Kronner over Schnieds is 1. He is younger. 2. More physical. 3. Faster. 4. Did not sell out to the phucks.

I guess my retaliation came in the form of three unanswered goals....
