I agree Crym. Kopecky has been playing very well and takes some big hits and keeps coming. Franz has been impressive to. I think that Kop could take Huds or Sammies spot.

I am very happy with this deal. Definitly he could have hit free agency and recieved more money. I think the 5 year security is great to. Nice Job Kenny and thank you Clear Bear.

I know that I am a nah sayer about Mac's return to winged wheel, but it was recommended we start a new thread just keeping track of him. My friend, my daughter and I drove an hour or so to see Mac play in flint. I was throughly impressed with his energy on the ice. He looked good, probably the most dominant force on the ice, though I don't know much about the General's. He had an awsome goal that he risked his body to put in the net and a nice assist on a really weak goal. He is already an icon there. He will do great in that league. Unfortunately he did not fight but I don't think that is his role on the Gen's. He play's in front of the net alot like Homer does for the wings. You can tell he brings leadership to the team and you might like to know that he is not the oldest on the Gen's. The team is mostly youngin's but there is an Assistant Cap that looks upper thirties. Mac skated with his family after the game during an open skate, holding his youngest, his daughter and son in tow. His middle daughter played in a shootout during the 1st intermission and was the only skater to score all attempted goals. Her team is the Birmingham Grinders. After his skate he came out and signed autographs to a line of fans. Talking with each. He spent probably a minute and a half talking with my five year old, who knows almost everything about Darren due to dadd and an uncle force feeding her info and making her watch the DVD's. She signed a Jersey and picture for her and her mother. He talked with me a bit and I wished him luck and "hoped" he would be in red and white soon. If you have never went to see a Gen's game and live reasonably close check them out. The environment is great and it is pretty good hockey with some great hits. The crowd rivals the rowdiest I have seen in a while. Ribbing the opposing goaltender and doing chants. The have fun contest everygame like chuck the puck where you try to hit the target. Then they have kids run all over the ice to pick them up. Every game they have some exciting fan attraction. Believe it or not the seats are better then the Joe's and all concessions are fairly priced besides the pizza! So this is the start, let's keep tabs on Big Mac. Regardless of wether we think he can make it or not, we can well wish. This thread is not to discuss opinions on if he can or cannot. Just to keep focus on what he does. I will call my buddy and have him post some pics in here as well. *Edit* sorry I spelt his name wrong in the title if one of the admin guys could fix it that would be awsome.... SORRY!!!!

Well like it or not he has made it. He has a slight rib injury and I am hoping that it will be very short. Maybe in the line up tonight? Congrats Mac, some of us believed the entire time. Lets get you on the ice!!!

I definitly do not want to start another goalie debate but I would rather see Dom go everynight. Our games are pretty well spaced and we need him primed for the playoff's. I love Ozzy and he has had a spactacular season but it is time to assume the natural back up position and let Dom take the starts. Next year Oz will likely be the starter, now Dom for playoff victory.

Yeah I think I have to agree. I have been a fan for a long time. I just started watching and learning the game, the team and the league since the lockout. Actually all three cups I missed. '97 Working almost every night at KFC. '98 Same thing. '02 I was in Air Assault School at Ft Campbell, KY. So it is time the win so I can really enjoy a cup final.

Lidstrom is definitly the greatest leader on the team. Definitly is a stellar all around player but Offensive side he is great for a defensemen. Dats is stellar on the D side and absolutely amazing on the O. I still say Dats has the edge but it is close. Amen to that doggy, they are.

Not so sure I would go to much into Yzer-esque, but I got in a big arguement earlier in the season by saying that Dats is the best all around player on the team. I am not down playing anyone else's talent just finally others agree. Hank is a great player but when you look at highlights Dats is constantly setting him up. He is capable of the playmaking role, dangler, sharp shooter, and defensive forward. So huge thumbs up and again definitly not down playing anyone's talents. PS the girls is your avatar are pretty hot! LOL

I think it is in the realm of possibilty for Dats to get to a hundred but unlikely. He woould have to average 1.57 pnts per game, every game to make it. Hank would need slightly more with 1.71 points per game.

As the season winds down in the Fantasy world, if you have default settings, deadline for trades is Thursday the 6th. I just would like to encourage everyone to keep an eye out on thier leagues becuase people will try to trade crap for good playoff stock. This type of stuff ruins the integrity of your leagues and the folks who have made the playoffs. Just a side note. cough, cough. Burnt Bisquits League cough, cough

you know what is crazy about this thread. one guys thoughts has seriously turned into a rumor with a ton of weight. I have been talking to people last night and today that say, "Stuart is not gonna be physical, I read it!" When turns out this is where they got it. The Babs said the great thing about Stuart is that he can hit and he can move the puck up. Craziness I tell ya.

What is this Ottawa? Our losses are not due to coaching. Maybe injuries and poor officiating, possibly lack of scoring depth. Babs, definitly not the reason.
