No, no. I was flipping through and landed on Nash/Col and both feeds were discussing the "Goalie Contreversy" we were having. Their words. Both feeds mentioned that he will be going through waivers and neither channel claimed any interest their teams would have. So it is completely hear say but I am currently watching the Dalls game to see if there is an interest. It is not a perfect plans but it can help.

You can't put a cllaimed played into the minors. Also this is completely speculation but I have Centre Ice and I am flipping through the channels to see who may have interest and I have eliminated Colorado and Nashville.

Great post OP. The wings are far from finished. I agree on with points on both sides of the argument here. I agree that the Wings have only played 4 games thus far and two were fantastic, one rougher for some, and one terrible game. But the real debate surfacing from this topic is the "real fan" debate. Doc you make some great points. Why do the doom and glooms get pinned as "stupid", "unfaithful", or even "fake"? Why is it that the "homer" fans are the ones doing the pinning? If any fan to me is under the light it would be the homer's. Saying the Wings are perfect and nothing should ever be said differently is just denial. Consider a wife that gets beat or a friend that has a friend with a drug problem but says nothing because neither wants to rock the boat. It is disaster waiting to happen. Any fan that comes on to forum and takes the time to write has got to be a fan. One poster said that the nastiness is not heard at work and the reason is because the are faceless on the Internet. I could not agree more. The two types of people you will talk to about the wings face to face are fans that watch the team and follow it and have intelligent conversations and the ones that listened to their local sports talk radio and the news and just simply regurgitating the venom of headline grabbers. The intelligent ones may be some that come on her and say Ozzy retire because they feel stupid saying it in person. As far as the Wings and Brass deserving things from us. Doc hits it on the head. The Wings do not wake up at six in the morning after a west coast swing. They do not pay us to come watch our days at work. They don't send money to us when we struggle to pay the bills. The get our hard earned money on apparel, games, center ice packages, and our admiration. They earned those things but the don't deserve them. With out the Wings our life's will start with work in the morning and continue on as normal, we would just find something different to occupy or minds and wallets. Without us, though, the Wings learn what it is like to be normal. The get a 9-5 in ordinary jobs and have a Ford Focus instead of a Benz. If you ask me we deserve to have them play 100% and give us what we love. Skilled, hard-nosed hockey and the Lord Stanley. No matter what, Go Wings! Keep supporting the Red and White because we are few.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with tight jeans and fruity cocktails, that makes rough games easier to with stand.

Let me be frank when I say I prefer my women bringing me beer and making me nacho's during the great game. Nothing is worse then women who thinks she can bring any level of intelligent thought or word to a sport or hockey conversation. No seriously though I thought my wife was a fly by fan for a couple years. When we still lived in the Detroit area almost every playoff game we would have 5-20 folks at the house and she would spend most of the time hiding somewhere. Ofcourse I assumed it was a lack of interest but when we moved to Minneapolis and last year and the playoff's were a bit of a lonely time for me. She stepped it up big time and was on the edge of her seat yelling at the TV and doing chants and cheers with me. Is she just a hubby hang-on, I dont think so she never has been before. She plays fantasy hockey and knows her schnit. She knows all the players on the team and their roles and gets excited when I bring home news of free agent signings. (She hates football though) I also had a friend who once had a GF that I believed was a hubby hang on but after two consecutive years of her winning the championship in Fantasy Hockey I thought differant. She also went to evey training camp for five years. Now the same friend has a new GF and her daughter is 12 (I think) and since being around said friend she now plays hockey and loves the sport. She is knowledgable of the Wings. Frankley the sport just needs more fans at any cost even if it means women! Really I only want to watch the sport with overweight stinky men any way. I doubt it because you have a pretty pricey wardrobe and a professional does not make mistakes. Clothes, jersey's, etc that are not perfect get sold at TJ Max for half price. If this jersey was in the store and consumers notice it will be on the discount rack. But this costumer paid top dollar. You would return it if the button was broken but not a scratch on the bottom, proves my point. This defect is not where noone it is on the viewable surface. I bet that we would notice at notice this defect at a game, we often make fun of people who have jacked up jersey's. I am just saying if you don't complain your telling another buiseness that, "hey you can over charge me for your product and under skill me." Just saying.

Booster that is unacceptable. If you pay for a blu-ray player and it has a broken button would you keep it? If you pay for a product to be done professionally you should get a professional product. I would have never noticed the number being off though.

As a consumer it is your responsibilty to file a complaint. If you were $1.50 short on the total would they have let you slide? Unlikely.

Out of work players just means they were not good enough anymore. I think the league could use two teams less. The cap has really leveled out the league as far as distribution of skill and it will continue to do so. No more teams!!!

I have a bad reputation for buying non-perminant Jersey's. I own a Bertuzzi (From the Trade Deadline) and I own a Cujo. I like the idea of a Modano Jersey. I have also considered a throwback USA jersey. I do love throw backs.

I went to a comedy / story telling / Q and A thing with Kevin Smith. He is a huge hockey fan, half of his stories included hockey and his passion was unreal. He had mentioned this movie and it was just after he meet with Mitch. At least that is what I recall. His excitement and passion for the sport makes me very excited for this movie. It could be great for exsposure and if not then just great for us hockey fans! I actually think Sean William Scott is great and seems like he might work in the role. If not him then I would reluctantly agree to playing the role.

Isn't Guerin also injury prone? Don't they both make a decent amount more then what we would pay Modano? I may be wrong. Regardless, has it ever crossed burnsides mind or anyone else's that sometimes it just sucks to work for an organization that treats you like crap? Maybe Mike's heart was not into last season? Maybe it just sucks to get crapped on by the brass you gave your career to and you just lose a little fizzle. I think Holland gets paid the big bucks for doing the right thing and burnside makes not nearly as much making assumptions about it.

Passion counts in everything you do in life. If your a fry cook with passion you could be the best fry cook in the world. Saying Farve has no passion is like saying Yzerman has no passion. I just cannot agree with you here.
