Havlat is a great player. As soon as I noticed he had been dropped I picked him up and slid him into my IR slot. When he was good I pulled him off and he averaged more then a point a game. I would like to see him picked up by another team. Even ours. Just hear me out. Give him an incentive based contract, like 1 mil plus this if you get x amount of games played. Take a risk and see what is what. He is an absolute great player just very injury proned, I would like to know why. If he could only stay healthy for an entire season he could easily have over a hundred points.

Hopefully his play is not as monotone and meloncoley as his interview skills. LOL! I am looking forward to having him here but I do not expect him to stick around. he is very family oriented it seems and from what I hear his wife has no intrest in living in MI.

The crazy part is that there was intrest in obtaining Havlat for the deadline from the fans. I think it was mostly frustration that they did not seem to be doing much but to think if we actually gave something up for him? This is his third time hitting IR this season! Havlat is NOTHING like Kronner, or Kronner like Havlat. Havlat will miss two weeks if he cuts his nails to short. Kronner has had some unfortunate mishaps but his injuries have been legit.

The greatest thing about that picture is it's Lang that is getting laid out.

Actually it has been said that one of the main reasons in the trade for Stuart is becuase he is a physical defense man and a solid puck mover. I am very happy with him.

My assesment for today: I think that Kenny did half of what I wanted him to. I wanted Stuart. I also wanted scoring depth. I love that Mac is back but I do not consider that scoring depth. The biggest thing that dissappoints me is the price some went for. The Federov trade was for a prospect. I would have gladly done that, the same goes for Prospal. Both of those are huge dissappointments. Hossa. Hossa. The only thing I can say there is I was hoping that we would pick him up but the price he went for? Man Pens really overpaid for him. He does not bring Stan with him. Pens still never bolstered what I thought they would... Scoring is not a problem for the Pens. Defense is there issue.

Very nice! I actually was very concerned that this may be possible. While I have no problem seeing a substantial trade made and the possibilty to get someone like Sundin. I just have no interest in losing Huds or Flip for a rental. While Gill's huge size and physical presence might be very welcome he is worth a late round pick at best.
