LOL! Maybe. Toskala wants to be on a good team? There you go again. Blah, Blah, Blah nothing new... average ozzie, blah blah blah.
-
Mungee, clever play on words? Huh? Anyhow, I think it would be silly to post all of the times Ozzie has made huge saves. Oh and when you promised us you would not use the words Top Notch Goalie to often you failed. Your only arguement for anything is, "average ozzie" and Top Notch Goalie. Tell me young padawan your going to start a Top Notch Goalie website or something that will have "average ozzie" t-shirts thats why you repeat yourself so much. In the some teen post you have made in your thread you have not said anything differant once or compelling.
-
Just making sure you know who's who while your on your whiney little rants. Dude go be a Leafs fan. If Toskala is stealing so many games then why do they want to trade him? Don't tell me it is becuase they are building cuase nobody has any intrest in him. I bet if we put Ozzie or Dom up on the block we would get a few offers.
-
WOW!!!! Your as close minded and short sighted as the other guy. How can you possibly say that Hasek has not stolen games for us. It is clear you barely watch the games. Wow. He leads the F'n league in GAA!!!
-
LMFAO!! I just noticed. Yeah that is really bad that his earned runs average is being effected playing hockey. Man ozzie is doing so bad that he even has awful stats from other sports!!!
-
Your right Toskala played well against the D and he made a few huge saves that "stole" the game. Do you watch the leafs consistently I am assuming not becuase you would see that Goalies in Toronto stealing games a few and very far between. Oh and you know Vokoun plays for Florida right.
-
I get the feeling that you were secretly waiting for this to happen! Time to throw away your Ozzy voodoo doll!!! LOL!!
-
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I just want to point out that you called Ozzy a back-up goalie that is not going anywhere then you said use him as trade bait to get Toskala!!! You are so easily blinded it is rediculous. First, Toskala was just signed to the Leafs to see if he could contend in a starting position. He failed. They not only want to deal him but noone is interested in him. Second, Hasek has been extremely healthy this year. Sure he has taken a couple days off for some fine tuning but so does Chris Chelios and I wouldn't scream that he is over. Hasek is probably the best "performing" goalie in the league. He is not the best but is playing the best right now. Ozzie up until the last couple weeks was just the same. I can almost assure that before the allstar break you had some Ozzy all over your chin. This is a prime example of short sightedness, flakey fans that disgust me. So quick to execute the Goalie while ignoring or just being to stupid to realize the rest of the teams fualts. As I have said before, Ozzie gets no excuse for his poor performance from me but neither does anyone else on the team. The goaltenders job is to stop the puck wether or not the defense is up to tee. Could Ozzie have stopped all the goals on him. HELL NO! The fourth goal last night was a wicked deflect that I don't think if you cloned Roy, Belfour, Hasek, Loungo, and Brodour at the peak of their careers i don't think that was being stopped. Bottom line is Ozzy is playing like poo poo but calling for a trade for Toskala none the less is absolutely ridiculous. First and for most awsome game referance. I love that game!!!!!! Second. Yes sir! Hasek/Osgood! I remember a couple of weeks ago when both goalies were on their games the threads said we should platoon both throughout the playoff's!

Starting this thread to keep track of the Sellers/Buyers as the next two weeks rolls by. By my calculations I would venture that these are the sellers for sure. Kings, Ilse's, Leafs, Panthers, Thrashers (they are not out, but Hossa is) Buyers are pretty obvious: Detroit, Stars, Quacks (low money but went at Foppa), Sharks, Flames, Preds, Lanche, Sens (already bought some), Pens (?), Habs, Devils, Flies, Caps (?), and the Sabres also heavily rumored. Bubble Boys: Bruins, Rangers, Canes (sold some), BJ's (costly loss tonight), Yotes, Blues, Oils, Hawks (could be sellers with nothing to sell) Alot can change in the next 13 days. I thought it would be cool to use this to see who is falling off and who is coming in. Let me know what ya think!
-
Honestly, I hope they are. It seems they are really putting a team together down there. It would be great if the could make the playoff's this year. As long as they still sell Feds
-
Ah! I see that now. Did not even consider that... Thanks there may be a few holes in my theory! LOL
-
Trade deadline in 2 weeks. Your one winger, and D.
IceMunkee replied to babygorilla's topic in General
I know the feeling now is that there are little sellers and a whole lot of buyers. I would wager a peanut and a banana that in 13 days the playing field will be panned out a bit. They edge will consider those who are on the bubble, some are gonna get bumped. That being said how close the playoff race this year is proof that the season needs to get shortened about 20 games. -
This makes me so happy!!! Maybe my RWW thing will finally pay off!!!!
-
Thank you! At least someone is seeing reason here.

I don't get it. How would Meech be a cornerstone for a Hossa deal. Someone also said package with Sammy and you got a deal. Get serious it is going to take a whole lot more then that guys. Put it this way would you trade Datsyuk for Meech and Sammy? No.
-
Do you really think Atl would take that trade??? How would Sammy, Hudler, Meech equivalte to a Hossa type??? Not at all. Now If you take Filpula, Ericson (spelling), Hudler and maybe a bit more (prospects, picks) that may be more possible. They are not going to give Hossa away for a bag of pucks, a midget, and an underachiever. I do like the way he is talking. Convince Hossa that Zeta, Lids are staying for a while longer. We already have Dats, Raf, Oz and some more cemented in for a while. Show him that the winning here in detroit is not a short lived theory but a long term reality and we may have him.

Quincey has actually had a nice run the past few in GR. He has been throwing blows a bit too. A couple of scraps in a couple games...
-
It is pretty bad that the bashers will bash regardless of watching the game or not. What basis would he ever have to bash anyones playing without watching the game. Nice.
-
Well said, Sir. Maybe a few less turn over's in the neutral zone too. Hell spice the later rotation of defense up a bit to, dear god Lids cannot be on the ice the entire game!
-
Griffs tickets are really not badly priced the other day I had four tickets four rows behind the players bench and it was $115ish foir everything!
-
I could just imagine the way some treat Hasek what would happen if we had Kolzig. If we were to pick up anyone that could possibly be available for next year I would go for Rayzor! Sure they say he has attitude but he is good and I think Babs could calm him down and we could get atleast 2 fights a year from him. That being said I believe Dom will be back next season. If they have such a successful rotation and not having to play so many games, I think he will hang for a bit. I disagree that we do need a Loungo to make a playoff run, only becuase we do have the best two goaltenders in the league at this time. A good goalie makes all the differance. I cannot think of one SCC in the last five years that did not have a goalie that was on his game 100%. I am not a huge fan of Howard and I definitly don't think he is the next chosen one. Maybe I am wrong but he is not having a very good year with the grifs.
-
Flint, I think, sold out the first Mac homer...
-
I know we are ahead by quite a few points but i would rather just not give away games. Here is to Ozzy going Iron Man!!!
-
I am with you that Downey did really well today against Parros. While he is a very exciting ball of energy not quite sure he makes enforcer status of a good win. He still has a few loses and he really does not fight all that much. I think maybe eight total this season. That is not many, maybe in today's NHL status it does.
