I am just saying.... You seem to know alot about what he wants, I am just curious as to where your getting your info from. You kind of sound like Eklund, talking about Foppa like your best friends. Although he has been qouted as wanting a shot at the cup, he has not been qouted as to going back to Philly. I am not quite sure what the bolded part means.

Hey man I lost Foppa's cell phone number, will you hook me up with it. Anyhow Forsberg going to philly is more likely then some, but take a look at philly and take a look at what Foppa wants. Foppa wants a shot at the cup. The Flyers have a shot but not a very good one. Their goalies are struggling and the starter has averaged (estimate) 3 goals per game. They are struggling as a whole. He stands a real good chance at achieving his goal here. That being said I do not want Forsberg. He is a bit of a risk. I am with you guys on D. I like it. Although I disagree I think some more offensive power would help. I really like J.P. Dumont, and Prospal is incredible. I would like to get enough power so Sammy and Hudler do not have to play much if at all. Keep that greedy ass Feds somewhere else. Oh and a side-note.... Bring back Mac and keep Drake and Downey off the bench and in there street clothes. Some say I am a bit of a dreamer.

Maybe your right. Maybe it is not exactly what Detroit needs on the ice, but for the empty seats it is a push in the right direction. As far as being better then Drake, I don't know. It is hard to gauge how he played with the Gens but he looked good and fast and healthy. Drake was brought here to be a bit of an enforcer. I use that word losely, but he was brought here to through body and fight a bit. He slacks in both departments. And as far as Downey? I mean what is his purpose. He sticks up for the boys but it does not matter if noone is afraid of him. GO MAC!!!!

I would hope he is not being sarcastic, I don't see why it is not possible. If he can do it then there is definitly room for him on the bench. Some guys he could replace without issue right now: Drake, Downey. Does what they are supposed to do but can win fights. With a very little work he could replace Sammy too. If you would have read the article you would have read that they are going to be marking progress until the deadline, so to me that means it is very possible for this year! Hey Lids, When the game ended when we were there we headed downstairs. By the main entrance is a stairwell that goes down stairs and they have a table set-up where he will be. He comes out quick and the line moved pretty fast. We were the second people in line so it did not take to long, he takes a couple of seconds to conversate which is the coolest part. It really does not take long for him to come out. Good luck, you'll enjoy it!
