It will only be a matter of time before Flip gets an update from Yahoo!. A couple of things to consider is how long will Flip live on Dats line. Will it be perminent or short term. I suppose that all depends on production. The differance in stats of Huds/Flip is Huds has stayed where he is a being reltive with production. Flip is a product of the star power. Anyone who plays on a line with the unbelievable passing skills of Pavel is bound to rack up the points.

I am pretty sure eklund just makes this crap up for no reason. He wrote a huge blog about Forsberg a few months ago. Talking about him and foppa had a true heart to heart discussion about him coming back. First we have no need for the guy, second why the hell would Forsberg be talking to a fat-ass like eklund the mystery boy??? I would say there is not a chance in hell for this, I am hoping not anyhow. He will play a couple games and go injured. We should just pick up Havlat. Atleast when he is healthy for the 30 games per he racks some points.

This is just my thoughts... If you did not add Flip when Zetterberg went IR then that was your mistake. It was released that day the Flip was going to work along side Datsyuk on line 1. When he was mildly producing on the second line it was presumed anyone playing with Dats is only gonna benefit. Unfortunately Z is gonna be back soon possibly New Years Eve and that is going to diminish his Flip's points. Although something to keep in mind if you want a wing on your team look at Huds, not only does he play multiple positions but he has been producing with out any real promotion. Something to consider. Also if Kronner is available in your league then you better nab him up faster then a fat man eats cake.

Totally agree! Me and Booster, who is a huge Dom fan, we were just talking about how awsome it is to have a tandem that we have. Absolutely love.

Ofcourse I have been watching a ton of hockey and I have seen a few of the last Carolina games. I would like to put this thread out there for people who know a bit. I have to know WTF is going on Carolina? In the last couple weeks I have seen Cam Ward blown out by the offense of teams. He has been beaten 8-1, 5-2, and tonight 6-0. They may be off a bit. Why does the leadership of the team allow for him to get ripped up so bad. It must be destroying his confidence and his ability to play. Are they on the verge of destroying a young, talented, goaltender? What do you think?

I am really surprised that Dom gets the Nod over Ozzy? Considering each of they're last performances. I mean neither was "bad" but Ozzy definitly played a tad better. Maybe I am wrong?

Really, well that shows my idiot level. I just remember him being in. I am definitly not saying Cam is awful. In the game tonight he really did make some nice saves. You don't think that these severe ass pounding's are gonna lay waste to his overall performance. For the record when the 8-1 massacre was going on I distinctly remember the anouncers bashing the coach for leaving Ward in. I may be wrong but I just remember it that way.

Hockey better now then 93-98??? Are you crazy??? 93-98 was pretty much the best time hockey has ever had in the ratings and in the game. Basically from 94' for two reasons; Rangers win the Stanley Cup champions, and the impact NHL video games had on the youth. I just gotta disagree with you there man.

There was actually a huge article on yahoo sports about it. It was released in the beginning of the season. Said the "hockeytown, USA" title has officially been stripped from Detroit. Went into saying we cannot possibly be hockeytown while not selling out in the Playoff's or Regular season. Then they went through a few teams in the US and it think the runners up was Buffalo and the winner of the title, "Hockeytown, U.S.A.", is Minny. I was not mad, really, I figured it was only a matter of time.

I am sure this has been said many times in this thread but I willl say it again a bit differantly. Does anyone find it ironic that most the people in here saying it was a dirty play and completely uncalled for are the same people in other threads yelling and screaming for more grit and grind? I know for sure some of you have becuase I remember. Sometimes reading the two sided bull crap that is posted in the threads makes me want to PUCK! It really is crazy that had this been Ozzy who had done this there would likely be cheers and whistle's but since it is public enemy number one who just put together a great game some of you want his head! Does anyone remember when Huddles took a nasty open ice hit that was borderline "dirty" a few games back. After the game Babs was asked what he thought and Babs said he should have had his head up! His own coach, and we were all giving hi "air fives" for being such a bad ass. Dom was trying to make a save and stop a possible break away that could of ended his Shutout which he was trying to get for himself and his team. He was trying to get it for us his faithful fans that love and support him so. Really sometimes here in Detroit as fans we need to check ourselves. We need to decide what we want and stick to it. Not jump the fence when it suites your bloomers. We either want the Brett Hull gritty, grappling, grindy kind of hockey. Or the Bettman version with a bunch of Nancy's in tootoo's and all we see and hear are whistles and constant powerplay's. No more riding the fence chose now and forever hold to it. Hasek, you had an awsome game with the best hit of the night all over the NHL and you should not have to take from it. I definitly think The Dommer earned his start on friday. He played a great game with the clutch saves he has been missing all season. Just think if Dom and Ozzy are both on their game, and they split 50/50 starts giving them both an oppurtunity to stay hot and not get burned out. The team will be unstoppable!!!!

I don't think the Ducks are anything like they were last year. I don't think that neids alone is going to make a huge differance. It is very possible his returning could be a cancer for the team and they become worse. As far as the Plucks playoff champs. I think it is safe to say the the Central division is going to run s*** this year. Goodluck to all the West Coast teams....Your going to need it.
