I would be surprised if Smyth went anywhere but back to Edmonton. Only becuase the way he carried on when he left. I was being very facetious. Their are great fans there, very few though. You are awesome as well as some others. Then there are the ones that ridiculed the "noobs" for being "cheerleaders" because they actually like the team the are rooting for! The are some cool events, the RRW weekly drop-in is awesome. They have been talking about a new server but that was promised to us before the playoffs. Really Matt tries much harder and has a better overall site. Donate to him so he can keep it up!!! My opinion.

Well. I am not sure how legal this is but honestly I have been a member of RRW twice. One time in '03 and now. Nothing on the website changed whatsoever in between. The cam sucks and hardly ever works. The "insider" features are lame and boring. It takes any where from 6 months to 2 years to claim any prizes. Had I known about this site then, I would have never joined. I decided to donate here and will continue so that they can make it even better. Oh and the forums there are a joke. There maybe 3 real hockey fans the rest are crabby old women that argue almost anything. *edit: Spelling.... CA only one word was wrong. 99% is not to bad!

How can you call for a suspension if you didn't even see it? Just curious. Dirty? Suspensions? No place in hockey for it? Seriously if qoute anymore of the damn media I am gonna puck. Midgets games are rougher then these!!! 10 years ago, heck 5 years ago we wouldn't even be batting an eye. Unfortunatly the media corupts our view points and since most don't have a mind of thier own the most be feed their point of view by so-called experts. This is hockey. A team down by 3 or more has always amp'd it up at the end. As far as Homer goes joining a fight that was not his, I think he was aiding the Zman. Which should be done. Back in the day of Probert and Koucher if you even touched Yzerman you were getting an ass beating! Crazy how things change back then that was everyday hockey. Today if you commit a 2 minute minor everyone is calling for suspensions.

It's 10:06 Saturday morning. I have no stats to bring to the table. I know what the past history of our team is. My gut has butterflies. My heart is pounding in excitement. I am at work and having a very difficult time concentrating. People think I am extreme. People think I am crazy to put so much stock and emotion into a team. To me they are not just a team. I did not jump on the band wagon with the Tigers, I don't care what happens in basketball. I do hope our teams fair well for economy's sake. This team, this extension of my heart, is all I have. I love my life. I love my wings. They are not a team, they are an extension of my heart. I am not the only one. So many are just like me. So many go home angry and depressed after a lose. So many dwell for days on the what and why's. For this reason above all else, I believe. I will not attend the game, but I will watch from my living room. With all my friends who believe. My daughter that only knows she wants to marry Zetterberg. My wife that wants to battle my duaghter for Zetterberg's hand. My jersey worn proudly like the mantle of detroit that it is. My face will be colored red and white. My wing-nut cap close at hand. My heart anxiously awaiting for a goal. For a win. I will represent MY TEAM with all the energy and faith I can muster. You know why I love this site? I ove it becuase there is few placs you can go in the area and talk hockey or about the wings wwithout some snidde remark. I can ake it from fans whose hearts are banked this as much as me. But I just can't take anymore negative remarks from half ass fans. Fans that went to bed cuase the game was on to late watched the highlights ithe morning then prosumed the bahing of a team that they bearly know. Fans that do not know the contributions of Franzen or Hudler becuase they are not house hold names. I hate those fans. I know I am new and almost everyone has glanced right over my post but this team is my heart. They lose I have a sitty night and the next day is a low too. Not just playoff games but regular season games as well. I love this team. With that love like every marriage comes the anger and disappointment. This team is my heart. Go Wings. I believe.
