im scared to watch this game to be honest i know these guys have to come up sometime but you need a veteran presence there as well no predictions from me i think thats a total jinx.

i never said anything about a cheap shot...i should have been more clear with "put him in his place" im just basically talking about a fight where he gets his ass kicked 100% like you said or just a good ol Konstantinov hip check just something to send a message to him where not everyone is gonna back down from this prick and there will be someone in the NHL that will stand up to him and 'put him in his place' in a non-dirty way. a red wing player will NEVER throw any cheap shots to any player like this tie domi video, if one has then my mistake, but the detroit red wings are way too much of a classy organization to do something that stupid we all know that and its something that every team should learn from.

as much as i hate dirty hits i have to agree with you on how pronger/phaneuf have it coming to them they obviously get away with a lot of stuff i mean i wouldn't want them to get hurt where as death played a role but in a sense where karma has finally caught up to them. i along with truck loads and truck loads of "anti-pronger because hes not on our team fans" do hope that someone puts him in his place before his career is over.

Very true...if we were to trade for him he would definitely have to bring that nastiness back we need that for sure, i wouldn't mind seeing him here just as long as he brings that grit with him oh and gets rid of those highlights he has in his hair

idk i still kind of think a 2nd round pick and meech is a little too much for stuart i'd say either one or the other it seems like stuart was more of a hitter and an agitator with calgary than he is with LA.

So with everything that has been going on and everyone freaking out about the 5 game losing skid now I think that us a fans of a winning team that has such a rich history behind it and have known to have a team that has ruled the league for the past years we are easily influenced to hit the “panic button.” no offense to teams/fans of the kings, panthers, thrashers, capitals(I know they’ve recently been on a roll as of late) jackets, hawks, basically teams that have not been really able to produce winning records, I know the kings had success against us in the playoffs a while back, the thrashers won their division, and the panthers went to the cup their first year but face it they aren’t franchises like Detroit yes they have history but it’s the Detroit Red Wings. Well fans of teams like that I guess you could say they get used to their teams losing and sure every fan wants to see their team win but when you are a fan of a losing team you basically just go to the games to see a hockey game but fans of the red wings you expect them to win every night, you expect them to be at the top of the NHL, you expect them to pound on teams like the ones in the central division and other “weak” teams in the NHL. As “spoiled” fans we are gonna rip apart our goaltending, our defense, our offense, our GM, etc. when our teams goes into a tale spin. I think we all have to realize that history repeats itself and as much as I hate to say these words you never know when we can be known as the “Dead Wings” again and that teams we would dominate in games will soon dominate us as we’ve been witnessing recently. I think we all just need to be thankful that our team has put up such great numbers and has been able to play such great hockey despite EVERYTHING the Red Wings organization has been through from Konstantinov’s accident to Fischer’s scene on the bench and so many other events our boys have been able to overcome and just down right play some great hockey. We’ll get back on the winning track just give it some time guys and if we make any trades then we make trades if we don’t then lets continue cheering on the team and having faith in the team we’ve had in all season, just be thankful we get to see our boys play after the season is over and we won’t be seeing an empty stadium anytime soon.

Alright so i know a lot of us have been at each others throats and pissed off with regards of our boys' 4 game losing skid so i thought i'd maybe break all this tension between everyone and try to post some very old videos and bring in some laughs for everyone. enjoy the videos if they even work and remember guys we still have the best team in the league. yeah in my opinion it was a very clean hit im not sure who hit kronny when/if you watch the replay you can tell that hit would have hurt anyone it was a pretty hard hit in slow mo of course everything looks like it hurts ten times as harder as it does in real time. but yeah it was a clean hit anyone disagree??

So I've read his stuff for a couple of years now, my dad hates the guy haha and doesn't believe a word he posts on his site. I still don't know what to think of him. Here are a couple I just found about our Wings... Detroit Red Wings captain Nicklas Lidstrom last week denied a report that the Swedish players on the club talked to Toronto Maple Leafs captain Mats Sundin about joining them at the trade deadline. Garrioch claims the Swedish Wings have privately discussed it and believe Sundin would be a good fit. Spector's Note: Obviously he would be. He'd also be a good fit with 28 other NHL teams. For the record, Sundin said he wants to remain a Leaf so until he changes his mind any further trade speculation about him is pointless. Atlanta Thrashers forward Marian Hossa apparently isn't in a hurry to re-sign with the club preferring to see what improvements the team makes. Ottawa and Detroit might be interested if he hits the trade block. Spector's Note: Lots of teams will have interest in Hossa, but thus far it remains to be seen if he'll be moved. The Thrashers have made significant improvement since October and if they're still in the playoff picture by the trade deadline Hossa won't be dealt. Too me hes never really delivered on anything hes posted I know he gets his stuff from other websites and all but eh I've never entirely belived anything hes ever posted what do you guys think??

another forsberg, i love the guy and the way he can hit people when they have their heads down (which are clean hits by the way) but hes just another forsberg to me get rid of him hes just gonna be taking up cap space with how sensitive he is to injuries. sorry kronny.
