My first game at the Joe wow that was back in the early 80s I believe that it was against the Leafs I was sitting 10 rows up behind the Wings bench with my uncle A.E. Wisne and a couple of his buddies one of them was Nick Libbit, and the other was Joe Kalucka ( I probably butchered that last name ) I was there designated driver for the night. It was an experiance hangin around with a couple of the oldtimers some the stories that they were telling boy what a night I will never forget it.

The only reson that there is such a profit margin and the are showing good numbers, is the cost of tickets,payrolls have been slashed but ticket prices have stayed the same or have risen take a look at the ticket prices to go to Wings game or better yet see what the price was when the Wings went out to Pheonix the prices were doubled to go to those games

I have mixed feelings on Federov but I do believed that Ozzie woud be a good fit for 2 reasons he knows the system , and was a great playoff performer , now for Sergi he would be good on the point on the power play in stead of Sammy, has great playoff numbers good size but he left on his own from Detroit and Ozzie was traded for Dom. I would realy have to think about Sergi

I have been reading what you are saying and do understand what you are talking about but what you have to remember the Wings won 3 cups with enforcers in the lineup we had Kocur, Mack, Lapointe for 2 cups and then we had Mack for the one in 2002 enforcers are a valuable part of a hockey team even if they do not see alot off ice time ,because at some point retrobution for a cheep shot has to be done so it does not keep happening knowing that there is somebody to mack them accountable may be enough to stop cheap shots from happening
