its alot different you dont have 230 pound men trying to drive head threw the boards while you are standing on an 1/8 inch of steel and with another 200 pound goon running his stick or elbow into your ribs,its playoffs you look for scoring from anyone or any bounce and some times just pray for luck

agreed they have been playing good hockey, it is a shame that not everybody sees it that way

Why dont we stop bashing Dats and Zets here the series is tied coming back to the JLA feel good about that instead of knit picking, they win as a team and lose as a team hey remember the Wings were not even suposed to make it this far also isnt this the start of are rebuilding years and here we are in the second round of the playoffs so lets enjoy the ride for as long as it lasts GO WINGS

You can not compare Steve to Dats like that Steve is one of the greats ever to play the game Dats is good but you are comparing apples to oranges they are 2 differant type of players

To show he is worth the investment on this I do agree but Thorton is twice the size of Dats hell he is the size of Dats and Zets combined you can not expect him to muck it out in the corners like that he is not built for thatb type of punishment

I do agree however if teams are forced to put there best shut down players against them it should be able to make a mismatch most games with are other lines, the inability of the other 3 lines not being able to put the puck in the net is in no way there fault Dats and Zet are doing just fine there is more to the game then scoring goals

Just think of the goalie pairings we have had the last ten years Ozzie and Vernon, Ozzie, Maricle and Hudson,Ozzie and Legacy, Hasek and Legacy, Joesph, Hasek and Legacy, Legacy and Ozzie and of course Hasek and Ozzie and you know what all these goalies were solid in net and for the most part got along well maybe not all of them (CUJO &DOM)
