LMAO dont pay kronwall his 3 million?? you cant be serious , that contract is non negotiable , they didnt just sign him to 5 yrs to then tell him his 1st season that there gonna send him to the minors lmao yes hudler and filppula will probably only make 1.5 average for the next 2-3 yrs max .........but your problem is your not thinking about down the road ..........zetterberg in 2 yrs will make same amount as datsyuk , lidstrom if hes sitll playing and playing well in 2-3 yrs making 5-6 million per , adding giggy will increase the total of 4 players to 24-25 million , half the cap .......giggy if he signs its most likley a 4-5 yr deal .......also adding to that is basically were givng up on howard and larsson before they even had a chance to play.............your also forgetting in the next few seasons cleary and franzen will get pay increases Again about the salary cap rising ........you cant take that for granted cause that's how youll screw up your team

its not possible ........any team that signs giggy will most likely have to sign him to a 4-5 yr deal ...........in 2 yrs we will have zetterberg and datsyuk making around 14 million combined and if lidstrom is still playing well and is making around 6 million then thats 20 million .........we cant take the chance of signing giggy ......i think its time we give howard a shot , if not then theres no point drafting these kids , besides if howard fails we got larsson who i personally think is gonna be a star , regardless if hasek leaves howard is the way to go , hes the future and its a less of a hit on the cap , if he struggles we can always pick up a veteran goalie at the trade deadline to play with ozzie you cant assume those things , thats how you get screwed after .....lidstrom stays and the cap stays at 50 mill then we add giggy then we can have ........giggy lidstrom zetterberg datsyuk at about 26 million...... filppula and hudler will be making more money, kronwall 3 million ......thats like what 33 million ?? ...........we cant sign giggy .....ITS IMPOSSIBLE

ya im in a pool with some friends but i got no chance lol , we did a playoff tree and i pretty much screwed myself in the 1st round with my picks ..i got 4 of 8 lol , i tried to take some chances ..........took tampa bay , they had a chance to go up 3-1 in the series in game 4 but blew it .........had dallas and they lost in game 7 .........thought nashville would of played alot better vs the sharks .......and the same with the pens ..............ah well theres always next year lol

drury is awesome , he's the guy i wanted us to pick up in the off season but no chance of that happening now with datsyuk's resigning , unfortunetly. I think he'll get 5 to 6 million from a team ....maybe 5 yrs/25 mill

well its good to see i humor you , i feel the same about your too;) lol ..........is everything just about stats with you ??? your gonna tell me lebda isnt an offensive defencemen ?? your gonna tell me he's more of a defensive d man ? it's hard to put up points when your the 3rd pairing and getting less ice time and almost no powerplay time , lebda is responsible at his own end , but make no mistake he's an offensive defensemen, give him ice time and ppl opportunities and youll see points, same as kronwall , injuries have stalled kronwall's career but like lebda he's got loads of offensive abilities in him and given time and ppl's he'll put up points as well only way he's gonna be one is if we give him powerplay minutes , he's 26 what do you wanna do sign schneider for another 2-3 yrs and then make kronwall start playin on the ppl when he's 30 ??? Anyways its ok i can understand why some of you would want schneider back , as long as holland and yzerman dont sign him back thats all that matters lol

what are you talking about having one offensive defencemen ?? we'll have lebda , lidstrom and kronwall ....yes kronwall struggled but when schneider was out and he got more ice time and more powerplays he produced , we gotta step up and give kronwall some confidence and more ice time ...... if we sign schneider it will at least be a 2 yr deal , at that point hes gonna be like 38 lidstrom will be 38 .....chelios 47 .......maltby 36 draper 37 ....holmstrom 36 ............then we really will be the OLD wings , and trust me it wont be a pretty picture if we go after 1 defensemen thats who id want , we got enough offensive puck moving defencemen , we need one that can dish out some hits and be physical in the back

well we got cap issues to deal with due to raises like datsyuk got , and hudler will likely get one as well , cleary will get one to next season ......i personally dont want him back , we dont need 3 defensemen in the back end who are close to or over 40 , lidstrom and chelios is enough for me , im sure alot of ppl wont agree with me but thats my opinion , we need to get younger and bigger,and physical , we dont need more offensive defensemen , we got lidstrom lebda and kronwall ( yes he struggled but he did put up points on the ppl when schneider was gone , and i believe in him, he needs a bigger role next season)
