Aussie_Wing 354 Report post Posted March 1, 2007 It's a couple of days old but I don't think it's been posted here. Interview Here's one question which I found interesting. It's pretty evident Flip’s role in the team has been to simply play solid defensively and concentrate on keeping the puck out of his own net. I wonder what he'll be able to do, maybe next season, when he’s on a scoring line and he can completely showcase his offensive talents. McKeen's: You bring hockey smarts and sense to this team. Is that what you think coach Babcock sees in you as one of your strengths? Filppula: (Starts to laugh) I would like to think that. Everybody sees the game a little more differently, however I try to focus on maintaining good position in the defensive zone. I don't like to be scored against and I try not to make that happen. If I get an opportunity to score than that is great but right now I need to channel my energy on playing a good game away from the puck.
