Cap Limit Calculator, Anyone?

Does anyone know where we stand with regard to the cap right now? Assumptions would be that we let Calder and Lang go, of course. Hudler too probably.

There are about 3 posts that touch on this topic, feel free to search but I believe we have somewhere between 7 and 8 million depending on how much cushion Kenny wants to leave.

According to wht Kenny Holland told MLive earlier this evening, we have about $8 mil. Kenny wants to sign another defenseman, another forward and Hasek.

$41.236-million roughly committed so far. That includes Rafalski, bonuses from last year (Hasek/Chelios) and assumes Grigorenko makes the team.

That leaves $9.064m in available cap space, of which Holland has said he will use $8m.
