pjgj13 30 Report post Posted October 27, 2007 I am seeing the scores and besides the 2 games again CHI, the Wings look like they are even more dominant than they have in any of their "great years". I have only seen 1 game (ANA opening night) and don't have center ice. So how have they been looking? Afterall, an 8-2-1 record is pretty damn awesome. Am I hallucinating but do the Wings have more fighting majors in 11 games than they did in all 82 last year? I live in PA and am coming back for the weekend of T-giving and a friend of mine got tix for the Blues game. I can't wait as I haven't been able to go to a Wings game in about 10 years. Can't wait until April as I am moving back to MI and playoffs start!! Do they look as good as their record indicates? THANKS!!
hockey&beer 16 Report post Posted October 27, 2007 There have been a few games this year where play looked a little sloppy, but (esp last night) quite a few games where the Wings seemed to be playing an AHL team. I am enjoying the fact that that before the season most of these noards were crying that the offense was going to be sparce and we only have one scoring line. Well, yes one line does most of the scoring but everyone else seems to finall be coming around and my pre-season prediction of the Wings averaging well over 3 GPG is coming true. I am kind-of jealous you are going to the Blues game, since I think they are much improved this season. Overall I think the Wings-Blues series may be real close to 50-50.
